As the chef told us afterwards, it is not "fancy" Swiss food, but very high quality ingredients and done right. They have a lovely outdoor garden and on a Friday were busy but we got a seat right away. They have English menus and our waiter was friendly and helpful. Food was great: cordon bleu, osso bucco, steak, shrimp salad, mushroom toast. Desserts here are fantastic. Family-run and so welcoming. Worth a trip away from the city center if you would like an authentic, tasty and friendly Swiss eating experience.

Your meal starts off with a delectable dish of various crudites and herb scones which in and of itself can be a lovely (albeit light) meal. But then come the pastas, and the meat dishes, etc. etc. I usually come here for dinner, but if you can come during the day, all the better, as you can sit outside next to various potted herbs that smell almost as good as the actual meals themselves.
