He was very helpful and told us that there were certain things we shouldn't get (not because they were not good, but because he assumed our palates would not be used to them). We settled on getting noodles with meat sauce, apple sauce, and cheese, as one dish, and pork fillets with finely chopped vegetables as the other. Both dishes were rather tasty and gave us a relatively inexpensive foray into Swiss German cuisine. I would totally recommend this place to anybody traveling through Bern.
