I ordered a Delirium Tremens, a golden pale ale, claimed to have been elected as the best beer in the world. With easily an inch and a half head, the beer was indeed tasty. I chose the Delirium Portuguese Clams, a new menu, of steamed clams with ample garlic and focaccia. The clams were fabulous! Paying was as easy as scanning the QRC again. Having said that, service was still fabulous and my server checked on me several times without being overbearing. The music was fantastic, without being so loud you couldn't relax.

Since the Santa Justa lift is closed, one of the best locations to see a very similar view. I will say it was extremely difficult to find it at first. That is the main reason why I didn't get my five stars. The GPS gets confused because it's located on the second floor and so it keeps taking you down the street of the santa justa lift. I was getting so frustrated because I was looping around a bunch of times. In order to find it, you have to go to the Carmo convent and it is behind the Museum. Otherwise, though it has a classic drink menu for a decent price. There's around 50 people worth of seating covered and uncovered. I will say, though when the sunset happens, you're completely shaded by buildings and so it's on the cooler darker side until they turn on the lights.

She is honest about her opinion - they waited six month to get this beer, she was really excited to try it but felt rather let down. She also enjoys giving trivia - the label Electric Nurse from Denmark comes from the occupations of the founders - one is an electrician and the other a nurse. She lets me sample the draft before deciding which one I want. Last but not least, she is diligent with regular sampling of the beer to ensure quality. ; ) The place has a relaxed vibe, with some games and books for entertainment. We just sat at the bar and chatted with locals, about beer, food, and everything. A really lovely way to spend an afternoon of our vacation, rather than hurrying around like crazy tourists. If you prefer, Praça Das Flores is just across the street, a park where you can totally enjoy a little corner of nature. Beers are not cheap here. The bottles costs over €3 each, and drafts mostly €4-6. Whereas a Sagres usually costs me €2 or so. However, if you don't feel it's worth paying extra to support craft and quality beer, then by all means stay with your Super Bock.
