Came here in the market and tried some croquettes! I really enjoyed them! I tried 5 of them: the traditional beef and pork, peanut and chickpea, goat cheese and caramelized onions, tuna and tomatoes, and carrots and cod. I really enjoyed all of them! They had great flavors! They were warm and had a great time eating all of them. The workers were nice and let me take them to go. The ambiance was fun in the market just a little chaotic

We were initially going to get a combo (croquettes with soup) but they didn't have it- not sure if they changed the menu or we just came too late in the day? We did a trio of croquettes instead, one vegetable curry, one carmelized onion and goat cheese, and one smoked salmon and cream cheese. All were good, the last one was probably my favorite, though the veg curry was a strong contender too. The goat cheese and onion was pretty ok. I expected more molten filling but not so much. The staff were very nice and quick, and impressively, able to tell the croquettes apart on our plate just by looking at them.

This was one of our first stops at Time Out market Lisbon, as I figured it would be a good snack to start our meal. Granted, this was my first time having croquettes of this style, but I thought they were delicious! Contrary to the other reviews, ours did not come out cold, and they were crispy on the outside, and flavorful and filling on the inside. I will say, they were on the smaller side than what I was expecting. We got: Tradicional de Carne (Traditional Beef and Pork) - 1.75€ Bacalhau Espiritual (Codfish & Carrots Gratin - 1.75€ There was a bit of a line, but once you got to the front, the food came out pretty quickly (since it's pre-made).

I ordered the three croquette combo with green salad. I chose one tradicional (pork and beef), one queijo de cabra (goat cheese w caramelized red onion) and one sausage and rapini croquette. The only one that stood out was the goat cheese with caramelized onion. I kind of couldn't tell the difference between the other two, to be honest. On the other hand, my friend loved his croquette sandwich on brioche so maybe that's the way to go. I think I preferred the croquette booth in the middle, though.. near the pastries...

Long line and slow one cashier service for these stuffed puff balls fillings. I ordered the below: Bacalhau e chourico - codfish and chorizo Chico com tinta - cuttlefish with ink Traditional - beef and pork It was good to snack on, but left the taste buds to be lingering for something more tantalizing and special.

So I was torn to come here with the reviews... well I should have gown somewhere else. The croquettes were mediocre. I got the 1 codfish & carrot & 1 salmon & cream cheese. The flavor was not bad. The issue was they were cold on the inside. For how busy this place was there shouldn't be a reason as to why they were cold. Very disappointed yet not really surprised. You live & you learn.

This little stand specializing in croquettes in located inside Time Out, although it's more accurate to say that it's located in Mercado Ribeira, the less glamorous side of the building, where it is more market than food hall. It's easy to miss when you are making the round inside Time Out, but don't miss this little spot, for what some considered the best croquettes in town. This is what Time Out said of the winner of their contest: "There are croquettes aplenty, but few that are truly great." As a food hall, there are too many places to choose from. Croqueteria is perfect as you can always find room in your stomach to sample a few of these little gems, and gives you something to munch on while you wait for your pagers to beep. At €1.50 each it's not the cheapest in town but what it excels in is quality and variety. Stay with traditional flavors, or be adventurous: squid Ink black croquette, cod and chorizo, goat cheese with caramelized purple onion, sardine with roasted peppers, partridge with mushrooms... bet it's hard to just pick one.

Ehhh.. In theory I'm all for a croquette joint but execution was subpar. We got their croquettes and companhia which includes 3 croquettes, a side, and a drink for €7.50. All croquettes we're crispy but that's where the plus ends. We got the tradicional (pork and beef) which were mushy and bland, queijo de cabra (goat cheese w caramelized red onions) which were sweet and well seasoned(the best of the three in my opinion), and their choco con tinta (cuttlefish w ink) which was the worst of the three. The choco was crispy but dry and bland. Add two unhappy employees who never smiled or greeted you and you got yourself a recipe for a bad food stand. Skip it unless like us you were hungry and all other stands had long lines.

My only wish is that these is more of a way to help navigate the canned selection. I know a lot about beer but it's hard to decide on these because there isn't much in the way of write ups, just suggestions from whomever is there working or drinking. I normally stick with the tap, in general. I suggest taking the drinks out by the park on nice days. I really like this little area.

This place has quite a nice selection of beer, for a small store. Mostly European, and I was excited to see all the BrewDog from Scotland and Mikkeller from Denmark. Also surprised to see many Rogue Ale's beers, even on draft as well. There is a shelf for Portuguese craft, some from Lisbon. The girl working there, Ann Marie, is the best. She's really knowledgeable about the beer. When I asked her about a label, she'd tell me - their best beer is XXX, which I don't have right now, but of the two I have, this one is better. She is honest about her opinion - they waited six month to get this beer, she was really excited to try it but felt rather let down. She also enjoys giving trivia - the label Electric Nurse from Denmark comes from the occupations of the founders - one is an electrician and the other a nurse. She lets me sample the draft before deciding which one I want. Last but not least, she is diligent with regular sampling of the beer to ensure quality. ; ) The place has a relaxed vibe, with some games and books for entertainment. We just sat at the bar and chatted with locals, about beer, food, and everything. A really lovely way to spend an afternoon of our vacation, rather than hurrying around like crazy tourists. If you prefer, Praça Das Flores is just across the street, a park where you can totally enjoy a little corner of nature. Beers are not cheap here. The bottles costs over €3 each, and drafts mostly €4-6. Whereas a Sagres usually costs me €2 or so. However, if you don't feel it's worth paying extra to support craft and quality beer, then by all means stay with your Super Bock.

Pastries de Bacalhau - the crust was not brown enough. May be longer time. The stuffing was flavorful but it's more the cod taste than the flavored mash potatoes which I prefer. I actually prefer the other local restaurant I tried the night before better. Caldo Verde - The potatoe part of the soup is great. Perfect viscosity but the flavor is not. It wasn't salty enough but more importantly is the flavor of the veggies and the spicy sausage they supposed to use that makes the soup taste different. Grilled giant pawns - The flavor of the prawns is not as intense as expected and hope to be. The squid ink pasta also lacked of flavor. That's disappointing. With the prawns, they should at least use the prawn shell to make sauce for the pastas. The pasta was tasteless, didn't even use enough garlic and olive oil to flavor it up. Seafood rice - Another disappointment. They used fish, small mussels and little bit of shrimp pieces along with some bigger whole shrimps and mussels. However, the rice was lack of the true seafood flavor that made from shell fish. They also added cilantro which overwhelmed the whatever left of seafood flavor. The lemonade was not a sweet lemonade but sour. Fyi. It's not fair we just went to another restaurant in the neighborhood and everything was so much better but people should know.
