This business advertises as a bar, but it also Sells food albeit with a more limited menu. The alcohol menu here is fairly diverse, but heavily weighted towards wine where there are roughly 15 cocktails to choose from and some beer selections as well. While here I ordered their classic margarita, which was well-made and quite tasty. One minor gripe though is that my drink did not have enough ice but considering that I am in wine country and this is Europe beggars can't be choosers right? Also the size/volume was a bit on the light side as well. Having said that this place was ok from a cocktail perspective where the staff was friendly and views of Porto and the Douro river are great. Rating only as a bar I give this place three stars due to the shortcomings listed above. The better bar is down the street at the Irish Co but unfortunately was closed on this day. That would be my prime recommendation followed by a distant second for this place.

The toasties come in sets of three with plenty of fresh fruit and salad on the side. The toastie was on a white crusty loaf. The chicken crumbled away and the cheese was stringy to perfection. Arugula, raspberries, strawberries, blackberries, almond, walnuts topped with sesame seeds was scattered around the toasties. It was absolutely scrumptious. The beef platter was beautiful. Set on a large board, served with black beans, dijon and a salad. This was probably one of the best meals I had in Portugal. The pricing was minimal at around 9euros a plate. Eat your heart out here!
