Checking out downtown Iguazu my buddy and I were in search of some popular places to eat. We came…read moreacross La Dama Juana. The cute little patio seemed like a cool place to chill out. Their ambiance is cute with both indoor and outdoor available, and what was cool was the fact we had a live musician....Overall 5/5 For drinks we had a bottle of their local San Felipe chardonnay 4.5/5 For our mains and keeping it local we opted for their Sugrollia, which happened to be their fish of the day. It was perfectly cooked. Well prepared, not overly seared. Great salsa sauce on top enhanced the already flavorful dish. Served with veggies and soft white rice, perfect melody any day. Overall the service was superb, awesome place!

I got some kind of mashed potato side, which was really thick and bland, but the grilled vegetables were tasty. My friends ordered the rib-eye and it was so tender it was falling apart. The service was extremely friendly and fast and we sat out on the deck, enjoying the evening weather and the guy serenading us with the harp in the corner. We stayed for hours talking and eating. At the end we shared three desserts, flan, cheese and sweet potato, and apple pie. They were as delicious as the entrées. The prices were modest and matched the food. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Puerto Iguazú.

In A Nutshell:…read more -Bufalo Branco is a pretty good Brazilian BBQ restaurant. -The waiters are very friendly. -I enjoyed a variety of their meats & the salad bar had a lot of great choices. -You will pay around $40 USD for an adult. -This isn't too bad of a price & still cheaper than what you would pay in the USA. Overall, this was an easy place to find using Google Maps & Uber.

However, if you want to enjoy your meal and taste good food n a nice atmosphere, then you may want to look someplace else. A couple of comments I have on the food: 1. I wanted to come here and taste typical Brazilian BBQ Steak. However, it seemed like there was an inordinate amount of rump steak that they were trying to serve ..... while the filet mignons and the sirloin steaks were very rarely served. If you want the prime meat portions, you would have a long wait. After awhile, I Just gave up on waiting for the meat portion that I wanted and went ahead to eat whatever was served rather than waste my whole evening at the mercy of whatever the restaurant wanted to serve us. 2. Depending on where you are seated, the good location seats (not sure if there is an order on where the waiters go to serve the steaks) seemed to be always served first such that prime meats are long gone before it reaches the seats that are served last. 3. When I did get served with the meat ...... it was also a hit or miss as sometimes it was too well done (tough) or too rare (bloody). My wife and I are spending 2 nights in Iguazu on this trip. We usually look forward to good food for dinner on our trips. We wasted tonight (our first night) eating here. Had I wanted to eat steak, I should just have gone to a steak house and order the meat that I want and cooked to the way I want it. We have one more night here.. We will try to choose a better restaurant tomorrow night.

Contrary to other reviews, I thought the best thing about this joint was the salad/dessert buffet bar, which is reminiscent of Souplantation in Western United States. Some of the items include spinach, lettuce, beets, carrots, peas, corn, broccoli, chimichurri, tomatoes, and some of the fruits include mangoes, pineapples, melons, basically very healthy compared to the typical heavy Brazilian fare! And desserts such as homemade flan, jello, and pudding. Of course, there are also French fries and fried yuccas to round out the buffet. As for meat, there were about 6 different meats that came around, plus grilled cheese and grilled pineapple, and as other reviewers have said, they were all quite salty. It was only edible in our minds when paired with the salads and fruits. Overall, would recommend at $32.50 Brazilian reales on a Sunday (I think usually less than $30 on weekdays?). Great deal for us, but keep in mind my party was used to NYC and LA prices.

First of all, I'm fairly sure the location on Yelp is wrong. The restaurant is one block south,…read morethen one block west of the bus terminal. If you can find it, definitely give Gaucho a try. For those who aren't aware of the Brazilian Churrascaria format--this is basically a delicious meat buffet. And in this case it's a buffet for approximately $10 USD per person. You can't go wrong there. I really enjoyed the casual yet authentic vibe; many Brazilian families were inside, celebrating birthdays etc. The various meats were great too, of course, but I thought the unspoken hero of the experience was the side bar, where we got to sample many Brazilian dishes. For tourists looking to sample the country's cuisine dish-by-dish, we couldn't have picked a better place to try a lot without being committed to one item ordered off a menu. Eat the chocolate pie type thing! Another tip: they accept Visa.
