The gauchos never stopped coming around with the skewers of various types of beef, lamb, chicken, sausages. The grilled pineapple was amazing! I also loved the rice and beans. Though I didn't have anything from the salad bar, but it looked spectacular. I will absolutely return for dinner there anytime again am in Brazil - I was told the price after my dinner and it is extremely reasonable. The staffs are very friendly, and the interior is beautiful with nice background music.

Well-known and good-size buffet restaurant in Santa Luzia. Specializing in comida mineira (who…read moredoesn't around here?), there are all the classics, plenty of salads, and several options for veggies. There's also a churrasco. I found the food alright but not that great comparing to better restaurants in Belo. My feijão tropeiro was very salty, the surubim fish from the churrasco dry, and the carne da panela (slow-cooked meat) not tender. On the plus side, one can try pinga on the house, there are nice and well-priced deserts and espresso is free. There is a kids' playground but it's outside and totally out of view behind the building.
