This time I'm sharing with you Loretta in the beautiful south of Mexico City. Contrary of what you can think it's not Mexican food. It's a version of Alt Cuisine of French delights. Yes, French Fusion Alt Cuisine in the south of the largest city of the world. Being fare my opening Martini was fine... but the food was extraordinaire!!! Service... you can't ask for better, Omar our waiter was not the only one serving us, we had three more people attending the table alert to anything we need (Mexica style) and the food my daughter, my step son and I asked for three different plates to share and was an experience my grand daughter my grandniece and Milo Constanza's boyfriend had pasta with truffle and were amazed!!! A unique spot with a menu that has a Mediterranean flare, the mixed berry salad was fresh and the lemon ravioli was so light and flavorful. It had the perfect amount of parmesan cheese on top. The plate looked a little small but it was very filling. My family also really enjoyed the oysters as an appetizer. The warm rosemary bread with olive oil was absolutely heavenly and maybe my favorite part of the whole meal! I mean who doesn't appreciate a really good bread?? The baked chicken breast was moist and the sauce and mashed potatoes that came with it were so creamy. The drinks are well made and my sangria with vodka was great. Its presentation made for a nice picture. Lastly, the interior atmosphere was modern and chic. It was very pretty with leaves hanging from the ceiling and a terrace filled with plants. I had the Timpana Maltesa, my daughter enjoyed the Lasagna and my wife had one of the burgers with chipotle and Gouda cheese. You must try the orzata, a twist on Mexican horchata made with fresh almonds. We all enjoyed pitchers of fresh lemonade and orangemade. If you still have room, you must have the desserts. The 7 of us enjoyed sharing several, and the coffee was excellent too!

It's just a few blocks from the main square so easily walkable but on a quiet side street so you can relax after the hustle and bustle of Coyoacan's touristic area. It's great for people watching and genuinely has a Mediterranean vibe that's very subtle such that it doesn't feel fake/ The owner and his wife are an absolute delight, as is all the food or drink I've ever had there. The Parmesan chicken is great (though I didn't realize it would be fried), the coffee is great and so is the Panque we tried while we waited for our food. I also got what I think is called the energetico bowl with chicken and it was excellent. Overall, would come here again and again, and I'd love to try brunch here one day.
