I had a caipirinha to drink it tasted alright but it was so full of ice that I couldn't even stir the drink, barely had any liquid in, just ice ice baby. We started off and shared a platter of nachos which barely had any toppings and took over 25m to come out of the kitchen. The fish and chips was soggy, and a tiny portion as the fish was only a small piece of 4 inches. Definitely wins the award for worst fish and chips I've ever had Also would not recommend dusting your glass rack when all the plates are underneath, you might want to cover those instead of serving dusty plates to guests.

Low lighting, nicely-dressed and attractive crowd, high wooden tables and a modern bar in colorful lights. A great place to catch up with old friends or to make new ones! Drinks: an impressive array of local and non-local microbrews. My husband loved his until I ordered a Snakebite (half blonde, half cider, with a ruby kiss of creme de cassis for which it's named) and he tried it. His face fell. It was the perfect drink for a warm summer night, one we have replicated many times since for our family and friends. Food: we shared a market salad and a margherita pizza. Both were outstanding. The salad was very fresh (arugula, beets, chevre) and perfectly dressed with a light vinaigrette. The pizza came with a thin crust, expertly charred, and a well-placed array of fresh toppings -- mozzarella, basil and tomato sauce. It was a lovely meal. Maybe it was the proximity to our AirBnB, or maybe it was because one of the few unpretentious, overpriced bars that we found, but we Angelenos felt right at home here. If you're looking for a solid dive bar with good service and clean restrooms, I'd give this place a try :)
