After having Covid and not much of an appetite this place was a life saver. I don't know what it is about that lemon, apple, ginger, and cayenne but I love it! My normally picky teenager has even found things she likes here. Most recently it was the cold press with pineapple, cucumber, green apple, and ginger. Pinecrest doesn't really have any traditional coffee shops where you can sit and simply get work done or catch up with a friend. Restore is open until 3 pm every day and I thought it was a decent work environment. They have several seating options, outlets, an extensive drink menu between their coffee, cold pressed juices, and smoothies + some food options between toasts, acai bowls, and packaged snacks that are for sale. I got the cold brew (because I was in need for some energy) and a power greens bowl. I thought both of these items were pretty good and what I needed to crank out some work on my laptop. It's definitely pricey, which is what I expected from Pinecrest, and what I expect from any organic juice bar business in general, but honestly I didn't think it was outrageous and I enjoyed what I got. The staff was super friendly and this was one of the healthiest things I've eaten in a while so I left feeling pretty good! Restore Cold Pressed is a chic juice bar/coffee shop located in Pinecrest. I came here with a friend to see if it was a good place to study, and I'm happy to report back that we enjoyed it. They do have free Wi-Fi, and the seating was pretty comfortable. I had the pink latte with oat milk, which I really enjoyed, and my friend had the cold brew and açai bowl, which she also liked. Service was friendly and efficient - at 9am on a Wednesday morning, there was no line. They were more than happy to provide suggestions and recommendations. Beyond rude, insulting, and disrespectful behavior by staff and management. Would rather do their chores than accept a customer order. After patiently waiting to place my order, I was insulted by the employee and ultimately by the manager when I brought the employee's behavior to their attention. Employees need to be reminded that orders coming into the company for which they work provide the company with the means to pay them for their employment. It is unfortunate that everyone speaks of equality in society; however, the importance of respect for fellow human beings is often overlooked. Update: I have requested that restore contact me to coordinate review of the video from Sunday. I challenge the comment that I "berated" staff as I did NOT scold anyone. I stopped speaking when other customers came up behind me out of respect for their experience. My "friend" placed her order and then I was told to wait to place my order. I had no issue with this. The individual taking the orderd went off to wipe down tables. Not a table for my party. After more than "30 seconds", I asked to place my order so that it would come out along with my friend's order. It was at that moment that, I was told that I needed to wait. It appeared to me that there was some level of passive aggressiveness occurring and I stated to the individual that I thought this was happening. Clearly this was my subjective opinion. It was at that point that the name on my order was listed as, "passive aggressive." Finally, when I asked to speak to a manager, who I know learned was the, "Owner," I felt that my complaint about the service was invalidated. Man, I do enjoy a good Restore. When I can, I'll pop into the one in Downtown Cleveland. It's nice to see a location for them pop up in Beachwood. Is it expensive? Sure, but I challenge you to find a juice spot that isn't. I'm not much of a smoothie person, so I always go straight for the cold pressed juices. My favorite is the #1 with Apple, Beet, Carrot + Lemon. I love beets in any juice, and it's a great balance of tart and sweet. I look at every Restore purchase like an actual investment because I feel satisfied and good about myself for drinking organic, cold-pressed juice! Shop: 5/5 I was told that Restore was a local chain but it didn't feel like that during my first ever visit for this business and the Pinecrest location. The space was modern, spacious, and well lit. Also, the walls were decorated appropriately and there was a huge artwork painted on the right wall (when you enter). I believe the art was by a local artist (there was signature at the bottom right. They have a small section on the wall (to the left of the register/check-out area) where the merch was kept. Also in the back area tucked away are the bathrooms which were self explanatory to find. Service: 5/5 The cashier who helped me was very knowledgeable with the different drinks I was asking for in respect to vegan options and warm drinks. She sold me on the Pink Latte which I will take about in the next section of my review. Other than that she also had further recommendations based on my lifestyle choice. The other wait staff was also friendly and kind as well. We ended up chatting about the the design of my shirt and other related media that stemmed from it. I was welcomed to come back and I for sure will do just that! Food item: 5/5 The Pink Latte was phenomenal. It being a latte, I had the impression of it being too sweet. But I my impression was invalidated as the Pink Latte, drink based on beet root, hit the spot without it making me feel bloated from sweets at all! I will definitely order this item as well.
