Pros: Keely is willing to try a lot of stuff, art therapy, play therapy, EMDR, CBT, movies, games, etc. Appointments are easy to make and reminders come regularly for upcoming appointments. She will explain the science behind certain behaviors if you like that kind of thing. She has a good sense of humor She's good at challenging feelings without making you feel bad about having those feelings Cons: Keely obviously has a watch connected to her phone that she checks throughout your appointment, making you feel very unimportant. Even if you go regularly she never seems to remember what you spoke about the appointment before, which feels like you are just another paycheck rather than someone she wants to help. While willing to try new therapies, you don't stick to one long enough to see if it works. If you want to talk about religious trauma, she will encourage you and promise to keep her personal beliefs out of the session...and then immediately tell you that what you experienced wasn't real Christianity and try to convince you to talk to a preacher. Restore Family Counseling was born out of the understanding that when one person struggles, everyone in the family is affected in some way. At Restore, we seek to support individuals ages 4 and up and the families they are in. Healthy families are foundational to our overall health and wellbeing and when they function well, it paves the way for functionality in many areas of life. A family that understands each other is a place where safety is not just given, but felt by everyone. Just so happened Dr. French was also appointed by Judge Getz to counsel my children after they were molested by their 15yr old step brother who was the son of a TPD officer Kevin Bright, my ex's new husband. Dr. French once realizing who I was and whom my children were excused himself and alerted my attorney. The custody battle went on for years as the corrupt Smith County officials sealed records and made every attempt to cover it up as they had played and important role in alienating my children and covering up the molestation. I've spent the last 10 yrs learning the movie industry and will be making a documentary to expose the corrupt trash in Smith County.
