My insurance requires referrals and he is so unwilling to give them, to the point where its absurd, because he also is very unwilling to make any formal diagnosis or suggestions... I was being treated by a dermatologist for an ongoing condition and I needed a new referral since some time had passed since my last appointment and he was refusing to provide a referral. You're a GP (and a lousy one). Not a dermatologist. You don't work for my insurance company, so why are you protecting their interest and not your actual patients? The final straw was my next visit, when he did not take my concerns regarding pain and woman's health seriously what so ever, and that's when I said, "enough".

I made a payment in September for my son's extended records to be mailed to me and didn't receive them. I called multiple times a week for weeks to get ahold of them. Not once has anyone ever picked up my call on the medical record line. Instead I have to go through the sick appointment line to get ahold of anyone. I told them my son's 2 year appointment would be at the end of October which gave them almost 2 months to mail me his records/vaccines. Still I got nothing and over the phone they continued to say we will mail them. I spoke to someone a week before his 2 year appointment and they said we will mail it out today but we will also fax the vaccine information by the end of the day so the new office has it. The morning of the appointment my son's new office calls to tell me they never received anything. Again Healthy Kids says we will fax partial records and mail the full records and it's now December and neither myself nor my child's new office has any health records. Today's phone call the lady on the other line tried to tell me it'll cost me another $10 to mail the records when I've already made the payment in September!!! This is the worst experience ever.

Let me give you a little bit about myself. I am 30, I have Multiple Sclerosis. I am prone to having…read moreinfections. Now, I don't consider myself in the greatest of shape. I don't eat the greatest or exersize as much as I should. But, when seeing a doctor for the first time, I try to be reasonable about assumptions about me. Well, she pressed the areas and I was told "Oh come on" as I told her the areas the were sensitive. I was told that I was overweight and that it would be worked on. I don't know about you. But, would you say that about someone you just met? Now, the reason for the visit was because I had kidney stones. The doctor was upset with me for not catching them. Now, I know what you're saying. I should have, why didn't I ,etc. Well, I had already taken my night meds, and it was 2 o'clock in the morning. Would you want to catch kidney stones after feeling like you've given birth on sleeping meds? She did blood work and urinalysis. She also wanted me to get some scans. But, she wanted me to talk to my insurance company about getting them. Usually when I go to the doctors and need scans, they put it in and let me know that I can make an appointment for the scans. Anyways , fast forward a week and they say blood work was fine. But, urine was not they said they would order antibiotics. Note, I got this call in the morning. I look at the pharmacy app for about 5 hours. Still nothing. I call the pharmacy, they say they haven't received anything. I call back they say they did put it in. But, they would talk to the doctor. I did not get my meds. Not to mention they are closed on Fridays. So, I couldn't call back. I also had a second kidney stone episode before they called me about the antibiotics. I called an urologist and made an appointment with them. Hopefully, they can give me what I need. Because, going with the pattern, I'm due to have kidney stones tomorrow night. Safe to say I'm finding a new PCP.
