They have soft peaceful music playing, noise machines, and aromatherapy oil diffusers going, creating a soft calming scent. Anna at the front desk is awesome - always there with a smile, greeting you as you walk in. She is so cool to talk to as well. I'm always happy to see her. I have seen two acupuncturists so far, but I really love Autumn Goodrich. I only book with her now. She has a maternal energy, making me feel like she is taking good care of me. She is a very knowledgeable practitioner and takes her time working with me, making me feel like I'm her only patient. Your first appointment is about 90 mins, where you fill out an in-depth medical questionnaire and the practitioner walks through it with you. They evaluate your tongue, take your pulse, and ask a lot of questions. Each follow up visit is about 45-60 mins. I have a history of stomach issues and chronic low back pain, so these areas have been my focus. Five sessions in, and I can tell a difference. I really look forward to coming in each week. It's a nice treat. I understand acupuncture to be great for stress management and the immune system. With winter approaching (and cold/flu season), I plan on going once/mo once I reach six sessions, going weekly. During your acupuncture session, you stay clothed but take your shoes and socks off. You're lying down either on your back or on your stomach (with a face rest - like a massage table) with soft sheets on the table to lie on (they even have flannel sheets for cold months!) and soft silk sheets (like real silk) to cover you up. They give you an eye mask to put over your eyes. Don't be surprised if you hear a lot of snoring. It's easy to fall asleep at PRH. There's tea and water in the kitchen area, where you can help yourself. Bathrooms are in the back. It's a great place, I highly recommend it. And they even have a sliding fee scale. What a nice gift PRH is to the Bozeman community.

Issues ranging from digestive, back pain, headaches, and insomnia, to name a few. After continuously being told by regular doctors to just take another pill and all will be good, but it wasn't. Most of the time my issues got worse and then more problems kept adding on to the list. I am happy to say that I have been going to Dr. Lou Walters for over 6 months and my health has improved tremendously! I find Dr. Walters to be compassionate and he has helped me more than any other "traditional" doctor ever has. It saddens me to read the bad review above and alas I do not have insurance so I have no basis for comparison but as far as the treatment I received and am still receiving I am very happy with how things are going.

I have to say I'm very disappointed with The Source Wellness Center. While the treatment was fine,…read moreDr. Walters clearly has no concept of payment or what is covered, or what isn't. I went in and he said that Aflac would cover all of my treatment. Multiple times he informed me of this. Aflac covers $120 for the first treatment, $35 after that. All the time. So when he said it was covered, I assumed he knew what he was talking about. Even before I left I asked if I needed to do anything and he said no, I was covered. Fast forward 6 months later, I get a bill in the mail. Not even a phone call, anything. Well, I signed a contract that I'm responsible for payment, even though orally he said that it was covered. So he threatened to take it to a collection agency. I never would have gone back for a follow up twice if I knew it would cost me $140. After speaking to him he didn't admit his mistake, but lowered my bill to $70. Still, $70 I never would have paid if he told me the truth: he had no idea how Aflac worked so had no idea if Aflac would cover his costs or not. I would be very careful when going here as it is clear Dr. Walters has no idea what he is talking about in some areas. It could cost you money!!
