I pointed this out to him, and he came back by with his team. They slid the planks back together and said it was probably due to the humidity or foundation of our home & that they may just separate a bit. I was annoyed by the fact that we weren't offered any type of refund or compensation, and instead offered a discount if we decided to do hardwoods with them (laughable!) but whatever... Well here we are two years later and there's not a single spot on my floor that doesn't look like this. We have had multiple professionals come out and confirm that this was a terrible install and not due to the humidity or foundation of our home at all. One of them even stated it looks like Jacob and his team simply watched a YouTube video and then decided they could tackle our floors. "The worst job I've ever seen" from another. We are finally getting this disaster replaced this week, and the icing on the cake is that we are paying A GRAND less for the new install from a highly reviewed, high integrity business than we did for this piece of crap floor we have had to manage and keep our kids from hurting themselves on for 2 years straight. GOOD RIDDANCE to this whole experience & I hope no one trusts this team the way I did. You will regret it.

The flooring company was okay, but the installer was a nightmare that ruined my brand new construction home. The floors ended up buckling after 3 weeks, glue everywhere, holes in walls. I went through any resource I could find online and had about 5 installers out to my house to see what could be done about my buckling floors and that is how I found TJ. He took the old flooring out and did what he promised. I decided to have him put in the new flooring after much debate as he works by himself and it was about 2000 sq ft of flooring he had to put in. He did the job as promised and the floors look great. Anyone out there that wants to use advertisements or referral services think twice as I learned the hard way. Being new to the area I did not know where to start looking for an installer but I always go online and do my own research and I should have done so after moving to Charlotte. This went on for 2 months. After the initial call they never called me back. Finally after me calling them weekly they came again to look at the floor with a representative from the manufacturer said they would see what they could do for me and call me in a few days. After installation was complete he returned to inspect everything and went above and beyond to ensure our home was clean and in order to our satisfaction. David and his helper did a great job installing our carpet. They were very careful carrying long and heavy rolls of carpet through our home and upstairs (which included a very tight turn) without making a single mark on our newly painted walls. Our master closet had many contours along the bottom of our custom shelving units and and they tucked and fastened the carpet seamlessly. At the end of a long day they took the time to throughly vacuum all of the carpet AND cleaned up every little "fuzzy" off of our driveway (where they rough-cut the carpet prior to installation). We have been so delighted with our experience that we've decided to have Neo Flooring provide and install additional runners and an area rug to cover parts of our hardwood floors.
