I made the appointment, and on the day of, I made it a point to be polite to the staff. I walked in and the front desk person was on the phone. I waited at a respectful distance, until she was ready for me. A massage therapist came out of the back, looked at me like I was scum and ignored me. The other woman finished her call and rudely asked what I was there for. I handed over my i.d. and paperwork, which she rudely snatched out of my hand and told me to "sit over there and don't touch anything", so I sat down and waited. I was called back to the bathroom by a staff member who was just as rude as the other two, and woukd not give me the chance to explain that I am in renal failure and while I had been chugging water, I have no control over my urine output or frequency, but the woman sighed and acted like I was lying or something. I gave the sample but it was not enough. I offered to try again when I could but was told "we don't have time for that!". Overall I felt humiliated by the treatment I received, and by being dismissed by the staff as if I were somehow 'less than'. I will NEVER go there as a patient and am looking for some place else to do my drug test! ​

So I decided to go to Rexroth Chiropractic care and invest time and money into my health. Lord knows how much money I spent at a medical doctor. So I got treated and with in a month I was feeling so much better I was sleeping through the night even went through the fall with out much asthma ( usually fall I'm super sick with asthma and infections taking prednisone and antibiotics every other month. I had even confirmed the appointment over text, but in the chaos of everything going on, I forgot the exact date. I wasn't a no-show out of disrespect, I was barely hanging on, and they clearly didn't care. No second chance. No call. Just a hardline policy and an immediate dismissal. I ended up having to call six other dental offices before I found one that would accept my insurance and that office is 45 minutes away. I'm unemployed right now and barely able to afford gas, so what used to be a five-minute drive is now a financial and logistical burden. This wasn't patient-centered care, it was a reminder that you're only welcome as long as you're perfectly compliant. If you're going through anything real or human, good luck. Find a provider that understands patients aren't robots. You deserve better.
