And on this day "Knut Restaurang" does not disappoint. Decorations are hung, holiday music is played, and the menu is altered to honor the traditional dishes of this special night. Meatballs and gravad lox were to die for. After that, I'm not sure why anyone eats a berry other than lingonberry. We joked with our server that it can be hard to serve an American a meal they can't finish, but they were clearly up to the task. She smiled and said they were proud to stay true to traditional Swedish food and it was a hot spot for locals.
