Dr. Sacks sent me off for an MRI of my hip and along with x-rays in his office, he told me that arthroscopy would definitely help my condition. Immediately after surgery, in recovery, he was very happy with the results. And expected me to make a full recovery in 6 months to a year (the normal range of time for the surgery). At my 5 minute long post op appointment, 6 months later, Dr. Sacks said 3 times, "It's a good thing I'm a great surgeon". Each time he said it my wife and I would look at one another in disbelief with how shamelessly impressed he was with himself. However, at no time after surgery did my condition improve. A year later, I saw his assistant, Josh. I was shocked as he told me that the surgery was obviously not a success and that was due to the severe arthritis in my joint - something Dr. Sacks never mentioned to me before or after surgery. In fact, as I've been told by other doctors since, that my age and arthritis should have made me ineligible for hip arthroscopy, since that type of surgery has no chance of success. Instead, Dr. Sacks should have sent me along with a referral for hip replacement. After speaking with Dr. Sacks about it, he said that my hip is in such bad shape that there was nothing he could do surgically to repair the arthritic damage. If that was the case, why perform the surgery in the first place? Why not send me to someone who could actually help me rather than hurt me? Dr. Sacks set my recovery back by 3 years as I have been going dr to dr trying to figure out what was still wrong with my hips post op. Maybe Dr. Sacks is a decent surgeon with a god complex. Or maybe he's just so caught up in his day to day that he is incapable of a diagnosis any longer. Either way, I would NOT recommend him. He will gladly perform his surgery on anyone who walks into his door regardless of their individual condition. Knowing what I know now, I cannot recommend that you trust him with your care.

He explains each step in recovery in great detail and never makes me feel rushed. Anytime I had a question that I'd ask through sending a message on My Chart, he would respond within hours, same day. Was basically unable to walk (osteoarthritis) when I finally went to him, he said in a perfect world 15 yrs ago would have saved me a lot of pain, but here we are and so let's make it work and he did! He didn't seem arrogant or full of himself as many doctors are, making you feel as if they're gracing you with their presence. Really liked him and that was the most important part for me.

First time coming I wasn't offered to go with her to get x-rays they just take the 4yr old child and x-ray her. Fast forward to cast removal day was supposed to be a Friday the doctor she was seeing was gone be out so another doctor was taking all her patients so they pushed the appointment to a Tuesday at 3:15pm Aug 29 I arrive to the appointment daughter excited to get her cast removed cause it been on all summer and no one's here. Check my voicemail and they called me Aug 17 stating "the providers will be leaving early on the 29th and she needed to come earlier or reschedule". She revealed that this doctor was extremely rude, uncaring, flippant and seemed to be having a very bad day! I'd assume that my sister was his proverbial "punching bag of the day" for him. He left his doctoral oath of "bedside manner" outside of the patient room!!! When asked to explain diagnosis (in layman's terms), he acted rudely facetious. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone who is serious about quality ortho healthcare. On the contrary, Dr Olmedo's Physician Assistant, PA Odom is a breath of fresh air!! Very knowledgeable, extremely patient and takes the time to fully answers all questions. His bedside manner is phenomenal. If you decide to visit Resurgent Ortho, I fully recommend seeing PA Odom instead.

U warm up ur muscles with an exercise & someone immediately cleans the machine when ur done. I went there with stiffness, aches, pain, & a little depressed at my situation. After a few weeks of sessions I could see the light at the end of the tunnel. Even though there were times I felt I was going backwards, their words of encouragement & fingers that's a blessing from God has improved my function. Thank you Camelle & David for all u have done for me. Ur craft of providing physical therapy is a huge blessing to those u & ur coworkers care for!!!

I been there twice. First time 5 stars. Second time 1 star and only one visit because I went…read moresomewhere else. I thought all therapists were the same there. I was wrong. First visit worked with 2 therapists and 2 assistants. They were all very careful and worked gradually towards strengthening the area injured. The second therapist was not that way at all. She had me doing advanced excerises I thought should have been at the end not flexing ones that I went through at first before. I was in horrible pain for 5 days. I didn't have surgery then do all the home exercises after that to go and have someone reverse it in one visit.
