I do not have insurance so I was a self-pay client. The first visit was OK I met with I guess was a physical therapist she never introduced herself she never told me who or what she was who told me That I need it physical therapy three times a week when I informed her what my doctor had prescribed for me at first they couldn't find a prescription then they couldn't find the referral. After that was sorted out I had my first session which went OK. The next session I attended was other chaos. I arrived there was no therapist there to help me so I don't know who these other people that they have I'm not sure if they are therapist or not I was given to one child to do a series of exercises after I got done for the exercises this person was gone I got assigned another therapist who came and asked me what's going on with you today as if you know me he did not know me I have never seen this man before in my life he gave me a series of exercises and walked away then he came back and assigned someone else to me and I finished with that person for the rest of the day even though when I told her I was in severe pain she says that's the way it supposed to be I had a feeling that she was not a real physical therapist, But she was pleasant enough. The following day that I had an appointment was the Wednesday before Christmas I had a cold I called in indicating that I had a cold I would not be coming to my appointment at that point someone by the name of Heather told me I need to make another appointment for this week Christmas week and I had a cold on Wednesday I just had to hang up from her when I came in today today is Tuesday excuse me today's Wednesday I came in for my session they verified my future appointments and I informed the lady at check-in that I would no longer be returning that this was not a good fit for me I was question as to why I reiterate it this was not a good fit for me. She advised me to speak to my therapist and gave me the name Of my therapist that day. My appointment was at 11 o'clock I sat and waited until 1125 and was told by some young man to come with him still no name, he had me doing a Siri's of exercises and which I was able to complete yeah I look around and he's nowhere in sight I finally see him and he's assisting someone else . That was it for me

Dr. Sacks sent me off for an MRI of my hip and along with x-rays in his office, he told me that arthroscopy would definitely help my condition. Immediately after surgery, in recovery, he was very happy with the results. And expected me to make a full recovery in 6 months to a year (the normal range of time for the surgery). At my 5 minute long post op appointment, 6 months later, Dr. Sacks said 3 times, "It's a good thing I'm a great surgeon". Each time he said it my wife and I would look at one another in disbelief with how shamelessly impressed he was with himself. However, at no time after surgery did my condition improve. A year later, I saw his assistant, Josh. I was shocked as he told me that the surgery was obviously not a success and that was due to the severe arthritis in my joint - something Dr. Sacks never mentioned to me before or after surgery. In fact, as I've been told by other doctors since, that my age and arthritis should have made me ineligible for hip arthroscopy, since that type of surgery has no chance of success. Instead, Dr. Sacks should have sent me along with a referral for hip replacement. After speaking with Dr. Sacks about it, he said that my hip is in such bad shape that there was nothing he could do surgically to repair the arthritic damage. If that was the case, why perform the surgery in the first place? Why not send me to someone who could actually help me rather than hurt me? Dr. Sacks set my recovery back by 3 years as I have been going dr to dr trying to figure out what was still wrong with my hips post op. Maybe Dr. Sacks is a decent surgeon with a god complex. Or maybe he's just so caught up in his day to day that he is incapable of a diagnosis any longer. Either way, I would NOT recommend him. He will gladly perform his surgery on anyone who walks into his door regardless of their individual condition. Knowing what I know now, I cannot recommend that you trust him with your care.

He didn't seem arrogant or full of himself as many doctors are, making you feel as if they're gracing you with their presence. Really liked him and that was the most important part for me.

In the middle of my intake, I stopped the evaluation and left in tears because PT Paul was the most disrespectful and condescending healthcare professional I have ever met. I had taken PT in 2021 and my therapist then was amazing. She was very informative, concerned, and overall a welcoming therapist. I had to fill with Paul one morning because she was not available. After that visit I never went back. I felt violated as a patient. I just took what she taught me, and finished at home. Fast forward to 2025 when I walked in and saw he was my therapist, I cringed a little, but I decided to give it a second try, because I do believe people can change. I was SO WRONG. Never felt so belittled in my life. He was rude, demeaning, and made inappropriate derogatory comments. If you have therapy scheduled with Paul, especially, if you are a woman of color, PLEASE PLEASE see someone else, or go to another location.
