They accused me of being with a dr that I've never heard of, called me a drug seeker, and because I got tired of waiting to hear back from them for an appointment after I begged them for an hour, I set up an appointment with another dr to see what my options there would be, I was told to just stay with them. You get either really nice, helpful or rude and dismissive. When a person is in excruciating pain, they should be treated as such, someone who is simply trying to see all the options available. they cancelled 3out of 4 appointments. they tried to do a drug test on me without my knowledge. I kept asking why do you want me to pee in the cup and they refuse to tell me why. when I was walking out they said I glad you didn't need drugs because we didn't get a drug test on you. i complained about pain in my hip area and the doctor stated most likely had a broken or damaged disc and the lower back. They had to do an MRI as precaution, but they were trying to set me up for injections in my spine. the doctor also change my pain rate in my chart to a 6 so I could get a MRI read more

Wow, when it comes to filing proper insurance paperwork this place's billing department is ridiculous. I am on my third appeal because this Center used an incorrect Tax ID number with my medical insurance. Calling their billing department is fruitless because they local billing point their finger at their 3rd party billing center. The 3rd party billing center doesn't do anything to rectify the situation but instead blame the Insurance company solely. They never return your calls. Please, be mindful of these practices when choosing a place to get medical services because the headaches are not all of these inconveniences. It is too bad that they are understaffed for their medical practices as well or at least that is what they tell you why are they running behind in their appointments and in their procedures. read more

Had a very bad experience with this practice, I missed an appointment with the nurse practitioner Jennifer with whom I thought I had a great relationship with, only to be screamed and yelled at by her as though I was her child. In addition the Doctor I saw while I was there Dr. Kamath has no bedside manners and was very cold as I was being treated during my procedure. I was seeing Dr. Lott before they opened CSI (when he was with the group on Chapel Hill Rd.). I was pleased at first even with all the Epidurals and Nerve Blocks I had to endure. But when the Opioid Epidemic started back around 2016-2017, that's when things started to change. Like the dosages of pain meds I was getting was working for me and then they were WEANING people off or down to less strengths and I could really tell the difference. I didn't notice the first time until after I got to the Pharmacy and saw it was Oxycodone 7.5 mgs instead of Percocet 10 mgs. Then the next month I asked them about it and they said they were cutting back dosages and weaning people down or off of the Opiates (so their patients won't be overdosing is what they really meant). So I started smoking weed to compensate and yes they did the drug tests and after the 2nd one was Positive was when they Released me for using OTHER (illegal) forms of pain relief. But now my COPD and Emphysema is making it hard to use (inhale) for coughing my head off. I've just recently got an appointment to see another pain Management Doctor and hopefully it will work out this time since I'm even worse than I was before after a Motorcycle accident in 2020. read more

I am a patient of a pain mng. doctor who I've been seeing for over 2 yrs monthly. I have been on pain mng. for 10 years monthly after I had 3 spinal fusions in NY with verified (ENG) nerve damage to the L4 and L5 nerve root. I am now told by 5 dif. medical Surgeon and Neurosurgeon expert opinions I've obtained which state that I will need 2 to 3 more fusions due to my degenerative disc disease that I was blessed with in my early 40's. Dr. Bishop wont even see me after I've waited 11 days for his office to call and schedule me after having my records sent beforehand? Today the Acworth receptionist claimed that my condition is too much for him to handle? VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! & UNETHICAL! a doctor who picks and chooses his patients before he'll schedule them? Life must be great for this discriminating doctor who doesn't even know me. I wouldn't recommend this practice to anyone and that's a lot coming from a person who has been treated by many many doctors for their condition. I always look for the best person. Dr. Bishop definitely isn't it. I guess my case wasn't easy enough for him. I should've known something was wrong with this office when they demanded a letter of recommendation from my Doctor as well as my records before they will schedule anyone needing help? Dr. Bishop was very unprofessional and he took it out on me with his harsh tone. After I had fasted all morning he cancelled my procedure while I was being prepared for surgery.
