Feisty Goat Tree Service just finished cutting down two 60+ ft trees out of my front yard. We had just covered the front lawn with Zeon Zoysia sod last fall and they were very careful with the lawn. I looked for some tree removal references and then cold-called Feisty Goat (based on several next-door recommendations) and spoke with Jay, the owner. I explained what my needs were (with the carefulness of the lawn) and he said they would be at my house the following Monday morning at 8am. I was floored that Jay and crew arrived as scheduled (I've found that in Georgia it's rather rare that someone actually shows up for work, but I digress)-- in fact, they were 10 minutes early! Jay is amazing -- he really knows the business. He made sure that I understood the process and cost before they began the work, which, even included the stump grinding services (another recommendation for Elite Stump Grinding). Throughout the day, Jay's eyes were always fixed on his crew and the trees, ensuring that utmost safety was always being performed. Jeremy also did a wonderful job on the challenging tree he was assigned to cut down! There was great follow-up afterwards, and Jay is not happy unless his customer is happy! The stump grinding took place as scheduled as well! Kudos to Jay and Jeremy! I am a picky customer and this company rose to the challenge with great success! After Irma, we had a neighbor's tree down in our yard, and an additional tree that I had some fears…read moreof it coming down because it was so top heavy. John came out really quickly and gave me an estimate, and he was very professional. I ended up on a waiting list as there were many more urgent trees ahead of mine (trees on houses, etc). It took just over a week to get mine worked in (9/12 was the quote date, and the work was done this morning - 9/21), and he showed up promptly at 8am (the scheduled time). The downed tree was hanging about 15-20 feet over my vegetable garden (it was not fully on the ground), and they were extremely careful in not damaging any of my plants. I was really impressed with how much care they put into their work. There was one small mishap with a trunk coming down on my fence, but while they pulled down the next tree, someone ran to the hardware store to get a new top rail for my fence, and before they left it was back up and nobody will know that it was ever damaged. The big pine they took down was a monster (80+ feet tall), and it fell exactly where he said it would. They cut everything up in small chunks that we can easily move (we requested that we keep all the wood, as we'll use all of it for bonfires over the next year or two). The whole process took right at 2 hours (which is what he originally estimated), and I felt like it went really well. The whole crew was polite (and funny), and I'm definitely recommending him to neighbors that have trees damaged by the storm. I'll likely be bringing him back later on to take a couple more trees down that aren't a problem now, but will be at some point in the future. Definitely highly recommend. He responds quick, he was fair in pricing (maybe he's not the cheapest - although he was the least expensive of the two quotes I did get - but in some instances you really do get what you pay for) I had a couple people call me and tell me that they would quote cheaper, but they never showed up to do so. Came back the next day with the crew. Super efficient. Very respectful and kind. I was obviously upset about the tree and Patricio was amazing. Tree removed carefully and he took photos of the roof for me. The yard was cleaned up and you couldn't tell all that had happened. They put the tarps back up to cover every hole in the roof. Overall, amazing service. Got a quote on some other trees that were making me nervous and was very pleased with the amount. They took those trees down and I recommended them to my neighbor and they taking care of some of his trees. I highly recommend them.
