Overall, Janet provides the bare minimum and ignores glaring errors that have the potential to harm children.  I recommend choosing a different child care center for your child.  Here are the details of my experience: I reported to the state that KinderCare fed my daughter a pancake (that had eggs in it) and she's allergic to eggs. I looked at the state report and Janet denied that it happened. This is a representation of my experience with her and with Kindercare as a whole. I have the entire experience documented including their phone call to me and the notes from the KinderCare app. I cannot believe someone caring for children can make such bad choices.  I also reported a teacher grabbing my daughter's arm and aggressively pulling her forward after seeing this with my own eyes when I came to pick her up, and the state reports there is no proof so nothing can be done. Additionally, Janet said she inspected my daughter's two arms (which she didn't) and that she spoke with the teacher who denied the incident. So, the teacher said she didn't do it, and even though I saw it with my own eyes - nothing can be done. YIKES!!!!

When I have had questions, the director and/ or assistant director get back to me right away. That is a true comfort! I love the communication with the teachers as well whenever I have a question. Everyone seems to like being there because of the positive atmosphere. My mother and father in law take and pick up my children at least once or twice a week and they said they always enjoy watching the joy on their little faces. They are happy being there! We toured multiple schools, but found immediate comfort and confidence when we toured La Petite on Baines Ct. What attracted us to La Petite initially was the great classroom curriculums, healthy lunches, and the school Director's warm/approachable demeanor. After we enrolled our kids (and in addition to those things) we found that what makes La Petite so wonderful are the dedicated, compassionate teachers, the regular exciting and engaging activities for the kids, and the community of other parents. Our son had the privilege of being in Ms. Dana's Pre-K classroom. He was not only SO prepared academically for Kindergarten thanks to Ms. Dana, but the classroom really fostered his friendships, which gave him great social confidence before beginning Elementary School. Our daughter was enrolled in Upper Two's with Ms. Lily and now is in Preschool with Ms. Taja. Our daughter loves her teachers and looks forward to all the exciting activities they have planned every day. While the academic curriculum is great (she is learning a ton), what we appreciate the most is how much fun she has every day. Whether it's a dance party, classroom yoga, tending the garden outside, or a special guest coming to visit, there is always something fun for her to look forward to. The cherry on top is that our daughter has made some best friends in her classrooms who we hang out with regularly outside of school, too. I don't give out reviews often, but I genuinely feel that La Petite on Baines deserves 5-stars. I am so grateful for the teachers putting in their max effort to make the school such a wonderful, warm atmosphere for our kids. Our son started at La Petite academy on Baines court when he was 3 years old…read more His teachers Mrs. Breanna and Mrs. Dana were every bit of amazing! We trusted them even when we didn't look at the cameras. We never felt like he was unsafe or unhappy...They kept us up to date with our son's daily activities through their app and always gave us feedback on the day he had at pick up. The communication has been top tier and the love and patience they gave him will always stick with us. He graduated a few days ago and we're so sad this chapter is closed for so many reasons...one of the biggest is saying good bye to the greatest most loving staff at this location....from the teachers to the wonderful ladies up front to Mr. John in the kitchen. We thank you for all of it!!!

They use the Tadpoles app for daily reports and send pictures of our girl throughout the day. I look forward to getting these pictures and love that I get to see what she is doing during the day while I'm at work. The lesson plans are age appropriate and I've been very happy with my daughter's progress. It is more than just "child minding", the kids are actually learning. I highly recommend HSSEE if you are looking for a daycare in the area.

There is so much that can be said about this school I don't even know where to begin. I never write…read morereviews about anything, but I had to address some issues. My child has gone to their school for about two years. The teacher turnover rate is astronomical. My child has had AT LEAST 9 teachers in two years and there have been at least 5 different directors. They don't pay their teachers on time and they don't get benefits, which makes unhappy teachers. The majority of teachers are not there in the morning, so you have to leave your child with a teacher who is there, until their actual teacher comes in. The director is extremely nasty, the assistant director has a snappy attitude. Some of the teachers are great! Other teachers display an attitude that they don't want to be there, they're overwhelmed, exhausted and lack the patience required to handle children. This daycare "loses" payments and then requires the parent to not only pay double, but to also pay the late fees. I know of five parents so far that this has happened to. They forget to give you pay receipts. They don't write incident reports or even let you know your child was hurt. When I walked in one day early, my child's teacher was playing a movie on her laptop while the kids watched. I do not send my child to school to watch tv, I send them to learn. The owners are clueless and downplay your concerns. The price is somewhat low, but you get what you pay for. I would NEVER recommend this school to anyone. I have so much more to say and so many other traumatizing examples, but I'm going to stop here. Do not send your child to this school. They do not deserve the 4 stars they were given.
