Ok, let's pretend this wasn't the only place in Tucson to buy collectible vinyl toys, wonderful art…read morebooks, beautiful local art, and some really cool clothing (mainly tees)... Let's also pretend that the staff wasn't extremely friendly, extensively knowledgable on their product and obviously very into the collecting side themselves (I.E. They get excited when I say I want to open my blind box toys in the store to see what I got, and get excited when I get cool stuff, and that's cool to me). Shall we also pretend that it isn't really easy to find, oh, and pretend the store didn't have a really cool, industrial/urban art studio feel to it.... Ok, we all caught up in fantasy land? Lulubell Toy Bodega is a bewitching, quaint shop seated on a tiny main road running parallel to downtown. It's closer to a more industrial area so unless you know it's there or you're observant while driving, you can easily pass it without knowing it exists. I'm not a collectible toy connoisseur but I don't think it's entirely unreasonable pricing considering the people who collect these toys are probably willing to drop that kind of cash. Personally, I'm a fan of their Blind Box toys, the Munny dolls and of course, the plush Domo dolls. Oh, but that's not all.... Lulubell Toy Bodega is a mecca for local artists. They frequently host shows where artists can display their art on their beautiful white walls. This not only enables artists to show their work to a public audience in a more professional manner but it also brings the community together. In other words, it gets those downtown kids out of the bars and into something more meaningful. The owners are so immersed in their customers that I don't actually know who they are; they blend in with everyone else at the shop! (I'll meet you someday Amy & Luke!) Lulubell Toy Bodega is, without a doubt, one of the best businesses in all of Tucson. You can also just go in and get help, or sit with other beaders to finish a project your working on. Their seed bead, delica's crystal selections and findings are amazing at great prices. So many colors!!!! All around the store they have displays of beading projects completed to help you with ideas and colors to use with your own projects. The owners are so friendly and always willing to help with any question or any project your having problems with. I found this store because I took a class here, and had such a good time that I started to bead again. If you are looking to make beautiful jewelry for yourself or friends as gifts come here you won't be disappointed.

I couldn't stay in the store long as the smell was overwhelming. My husband even commented after I walked out that the incense smell was heavy on my clothes. Imagine Spirit Halloween on steroids. The store is separated into different sections that are run by different vendors. They also have rooms in the back like the room of oddities with creepy antique dolls and other weird items. There is also a rotating photo set that people can take pictures on and use the props! This time around they had The Saw movie set and it looked exactly like the movie. So cool!! One of the vendors in the shop offered different themed and surprise boo buckets and I ended up purchasing one for a gift. I think the value for most of these items is fair and priced right. Melda was super cool and told me about all of the events they put on, including the movie night they host at the Pollack Cinemas. Everyone working was really nice and friendly. They gave us some BS reasons. Don't believe any thing they say or do business with this company stay away!!!! If you choose to return this awful pallet I will remove this review if you're still reading this you know they haven't accepted the return and refunded my money. Please stay away from them because if they sell you something and something is wrong with it they won't return it. Keep your money in your pocket and do business else where. They also have similar reviews where they dodge people when it comes to returns. They keep saying they have been in business for 10 years. In those 10years they learned to scam people.
