What a cool horror store! Nice selection of everything horror! The store is surprisingly huge inside. There are a large variety of masks, tshirts, posters, horror films, mugs, decorations and loads more. Even if you're not looking for anything in particular you'll be sure to find at least a cool tshirt to take home for give to your favorite horror loving friend. The staff seemed nice and the prices were just right. I'd say go visit before Halloween and grab yourself some cool stuff!

This spot is great for all horror lovers & spooky gals! There is so much to see and it is fantastic that you can shop from a variety of local small artists all within one store. Everything in the store was well organized & each local seller had their own little section that featured their products. You'll find a large range of products from jewelry, to clothing and large pieces like replicas, masks and more. There is also a room with a mini museum of oddities, plus various full sized props on display. Prices vary from vendor to vendor, but over all the prices are pretty decent. There is a little something for everyone! The staff were friendly and everything is organized well. All of the staff were friendly when we were there, the store was easy to navigate. There were one or two small rooms that felt a little stuffy if too many people were in it at once, otherwise the store has plenty of space to roam around and look at everything. The life sized props and the life sized coffin in one of the smaller rooms make for some great free photo opportunities! If you are in the area you should stop by to check out Terror Trader then head across the street to Spookys Swirls for some horror themed baked treats.

I'm from California and we were going out to Arizona for a horror convention and my feed showed me this awesome place so one of the days while we were out there we decided to take a drive to Chandler Arizona, which was about 30 minutes from where we were and it was so worth it! We got there right when it was opening before I realized it there was a ton of people coming in at the same time. I absolutely loved this store the interactive rooms that they had all of the fun and unique items to buy the oddities the dolls, the paintings, the pictures, socks, and everything that you think was in this store that was horror themed . I was able to find Chucky Monster High doll that my daughter has been wanting forever and it was such a good price. I also bought a few T-shirts. I bought a few prints a coloring book a few witchy trinkets. I absolutely love this place. It was so worth it. I'm glad I had the opportunity to go. People working there were still friendly and amazing

If I could give this place 100 stars I would, I really can't say enough good things about this place. It's my happy place and EVERYTHING in the store is unique fun I wish I had enough money to buy the whole store. It's Halloween all year long there it's a great place to take pictures and just look around.

Calling all Halloween lovers! This incredibly unique & spooky novelty store is open all year round, catering to aficionados of all things dark, eerie & supernatural. Once you step foot into this location, you're immediately enthralled by the distinctive set ups and unearthly decor they have posted all around. Many items listed for sale throughout the store are one of kind handmade creations made by local artists & vendors from around the valley. Everything from jewelry, trinkets, collectibles, creepy home decor, and much more. Make your way to "The Oddities" back room & step inside if you dare! This dark & eerie room is filled with an array of creepy vintage dolls, true historic tales, even real human & animal remains. Very unique and must see items. Great people working the counter, & prices can be a bit on the higher side, but you're paying for unique & handcrafted items, so that kind of expected. Make sure to follow their social media to stay in the loop, as they hold many fun events throughout the year.

My favorite store in Arizona! There's new stuff everytime I come here which is great! They have curated horror themed vendors that all sell unique and cool items ranging from homemade items to collectibles. I love the photo ops they have as well as the oddities section which is filled with paranormal items. All the workers and the vendors I've talked to are the nicest people and must really love what they do! I always have a great conversation with them. They also host events like their weekly spook-o-Rama movie night at the nearby cinema which is only $10! I recommend this store to all locals and visitors, it's a can't miss!

We accidentally found this awesome shop when we went to AYCE sushi near by. The reviews for this place are great, and I can see why. It's such a cool horror themed store that is fun to visit, even when it's not Halloween. This place is not a Spirit Halloween store!!! It's a creative and unique shop that specializes in horror marketplace items, and showcases 70 local artists and vendors! Per their website, Terror Trader is ARIZONA'S ONLY YEAR-ROUND HORROR MARKETPLACE, FILLED WITH DARK ANTIQUES AND COLLECTABLES. They have really creative photo op areas to showcase the bizarre and creepy! I enjoyed this place way more than I expected. I'll definitely be back.

    I loved this movie! Lol

Terror Trader was such a cool spot to checkout. After we checked out a bakery across the street we headed over here. It's a really fun and unique store. They have lots of things to checkout and even a back room with haunted items! Grab some sage on the way home! Lol my teens found some posters, socks and trinkets we bought. They had some wet specimens which were done well. Overall, a unique spooky spot to checkout. Even if it's not your thing highly recommend to stop into this small business!

Incredible store, unlike anything I've ever seen. Terror Trader events are always amazing as well. This is a horror genre lover's dream come true!

I walked in with very low expectations so I did not disappoint myself, but OMGGG THIS IS THE COOLEST PLACE FOR HORROR, LOVING FANS THIS IS THE COOLEST STORE I'VE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE. You just keep walking into all these different areas. It feels like it never ends and it's so sick! The staff they're absolutely amazing. They have true passion. This place is definitely worth checking out. Can't wait to go back!!!

I was shopping, and waiting for my trade offer for some items I brought in. I asked to look at a Collector Comic Book that was locked in a case. I asked the staff member if I could take the book out and look a it because I wanted to make sure nothing was cut out of the comic. He immediately became defensive, and his attitude became hostile. I said "if there is anything cut out it's not worth $25 and I want to check. If I damage it while looking at it, I'll pay for it." His response wasn't helpful or understanding, it was pushy and abusive. "You should just get these while you see them. No one has these, and I've never seen one in our store since I've been here". I said "I have been collecting comics all of my life, and if there is anything cut out, it's not worth $10 to me". Again, instead of being friendly and asking anything helpful or asking questions, he was pushy and forceful, and became even more irritated when I pointed out the water damage on the back of the comic and told him I didn't want it. He was very unfriendly from the start. A toxic person, to be as kind as I can be. I received notice that my trade offer was ready, but I cancelled my trade offer, and walked out of the store with the items I had brought to trade. I WILL NEVER RETURN AS LONG AS THAT PERSON WORKS THERE. When I advised the staff of what happened, they seemed disinterested in doing anything. I asked them "how can you allow a person who treats customer this was to work here, and why would you want to work here if the business allows this?" They all looked at me with blank stares on their faces. A manager did talk to me, but it was the same attitude as the rude employee. He didn't introduce himself my name. He didn't try to find out the name of the employee. His attitude, like the rude staff member, was an attitude of not wanting to be there, an attitude of feeling irritated that they have to actually talk to a customer and assist them, an attitude of superiority and entitlement, an attitude that their customers do not matter to them and that they don't respect people in general. I advised their manager on duty that I work as a customer service consultant, and the employees treatment was unacceptable. He did offer complimentary credit, but did not indicate how much. I declined and told them honestly "I don't care if you pay me a Billion dollars in cash, I don't want it if that person works here. What he did was unacceptable and he should be fired". I am sure they won't do anything, and I want everyone to know that Bookman's is a TOXIC company who does not appreciate their customers, and they will screw you over and abuse you if you go there.

Imagine my delight to realize that the Changing Hands Tempe location was mere minutes away from our previous stop! Of course, we had to visit. I was immediately engrossed by the assortment of non-cheesy and extremely cool gift items that were at the front of the store, but also sprinkled throughout the location. I also really enjoyed that they had both new and used books. I try to limit myself to purchasing used books for environmental concerns, but it's tricky to find new titles pre-owned, so I justified a splurge and purchased two new books. The prices for both new and used books were extremely fair. In addition to the copious amounts of books, gift items, indie bookstore merch, and everything else wonderful, they also have a photo booth! My sister and I have an agreement to indulge in every photo booth we stumble upon, so we were super excited to happen upon one here. I can't say enough good things about this spot. I'm already excited to return.

I've checked out other comic shops around the Valley, but none of them seem to have the Spawn selection that Collector's Choice does. They also have a great selection of graded comics and variants, which makes browsing even more fun. One thing to know before visiting: new releases and back issues are handled as separate transactions. So if you bring a mixed stack to the counter, expect to do one transaction for the new books and another for the back issues. I've never asked why they do it that way, but after shopping here several times, it's just something I expect. The staff has always been friendly and welcoming. During my last visit, the owner was interacting with customers by offering 25% off any item in the store to anyone who could correctly answer his random comic trivia question. Nobody got it right while I was there, but it was a really fun way to engage with customers. For the curious, the question was: "What was the final issue of Conan the Barbarian published by Marvel?" I was originally told they would create a free sample shirt for me within two days. Instead, it took over a week. Even with the delay, the sample shirt turned out nice, so I decided to place a bulk order worth over $400. I was told I would receive my shirts within one to three business days, but I ended up waiting eighteen days while dealing with repeated mistakes and miscommunication. During this time, I made multiple trips to the store because the promised timeframe had already passed, and I assumed my order would be ready. Each time, it was not. After all the inconvenience, I expected some form of compensation, whether a refund, a discount, or at least acknowledgment of the delays and the unnecessary back and forth. Instead, I found myself having to repeatedly hound them just to get them to address the issues and attempt to make things right. One of my designs was printed on the wrong shirts, and instead of taking responsibility, they tried to place the blame on me even though my designs were clearly planned and communicated ahead of time. The kids shirt I ordered also had a logo that was not fully pressed, with the edges visibly lifting off the fabric. This entire process has been a headache. If you want your shirts done correctly and within the timeframe you are promised, I strongly recommend going somewhere else.
