I'm from California and we were going out to Arizona for a horror convention and my feed showed me this awesome place so one of the days while we were out there we decided to take a drive to Chandler Arizona, which was about 30 minutes from where we were and it was so worth it! We got there right when it was opening before I realized it there was a ton of people coming in at the same time. I absolutely loved this store the interactive rooms that they had all of the fun and unique items to buy the oddities the dolls, the paintings, the pictures, socks, and everything that you think was in this store that was horror themed . I was able to find Chucky Monster High doll that my daughter has been wanting forever and it was such a good price. I also bought a few T-shirts. I bought a few prints a coloring book a few witchy trinkets. I absolutely love this place. It was so worth it. I'm glad I had the opportunity to go. People working there were still friendly and amazing

If I could give this place 100 stars I would, I really can't say enough good things about this place. It's my happy place and EVERYTHING in the store is unique fun I wish I had enough money to buy the whole store. It's Halloween all year long there it's a great place to take pictures and just look around.

My favorite store in Arizona! There's new stuff everytime I come here which is great! They have curated horror themed vendors that all sell unique and cool items ranging from homemade items to collectibles. I love the photo ops they have as well as the oddities section which is filled with paranormal items. All the workers and the vendors I've talked to are the nicest people and must really love what they do! I always have a great conversation with them. They also host events like their weekly spook-o-Rama movie night at the nearby cinema which is only $10! I recommend this store to all locals and visitors, it's a can't miss!

Calling all Halloween lovers! This incredibly unique & spooky novelty store is open all year round, catering to aficionados of all things dark, eerie & supernatural. Once you step foot into this location, you're immediately enthralled by the distinctive set ups and unearthly decor they have posted all around. Many items listed for sale throughout the store are one of kind handmade creations made by local artists & vendors from around the valley. Everything from jewelry, trinkets, collectibles, creepy home decor, and much more. Make your way to "The Oddities" back room & step inside if you dare! This dark & eerie room is filled with an array of creepy vintage dolls, true historic tales, even real human & animal remains. Very unique and must see items. Great people working the counter, & prices can be a bit on the higher side, but you're paying for unique & handcrafted items, so that kind of expected. Make sure to follow their social media to stay in the loop, as they hold many fun events throughout the year.

We accidentally found this awesome shop when we went to AYCE sushi near by. The reviews for this place are great, and I can see why. It's such a cool horror themed store that is fun to visit, even when it's not Halloween. This place is not a Spirit Halloween store!!! It's a creative and unique shop that specializes in horror marketplace items, and showcases 70 local artists and vendors! Per their website, Terror Trader is ARIZONA'S ONLY YEAR-ROUND HORROR MARKETPLACE, FILLED WITH DARK ANTIQUES AND COLLECTABLES. They have really creative photo op areas to showcase the bizarre and creepy! I enjoyed this place way more than I expected. I'll definitely be back.

    I loved this movie! Lol

Terror Trader was such a cool spot to checkout. After we checked out a bakery across the street we headed over here. It's a really fun and unique store. They have lots of things to checkout and even a back room with haunted items! Grab some sage on the way home! Lol my teens found some posters, socks and trinkets we bought. They had some wet specimens which were done well. Overall, a unique spooky spot to checkout. Even if it's not your thing highly recommend to stop into this small business!

I walked in with very low expectations so I did not disappoint myself, but OMGGG THIS IS THE COOLEST PLACE FOR HORROR, LOVING FANS THIS IS THE COOLEST STORE I'VE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE. You just keep walking into all these different areas. It feels like it never ends and it's so sick! The staff they're absolutely amazing. They have true passion. This place is definitely worth checking out. Can't wait to go back!!!

Incredible store, unlike anything I've ever seen. Terror Trader events are always amazing as well. This is a horror genre lover's dream come true!

This has got to be the coolest store I have ever accidentally stumbled upon. I was meeting a friend for lunch at a nearby restaurant and got there a little early. I decided to walk around in the plaza to kill time and saw a sign that said, "Horror Marketplace. Open Year Round." Curiosity intrigued. Not only do I love Halloween and spooky things, I also make short films. The last two I've made have been thriller/horrors, so I'm always looking for places to get cool props. I was a little nervous to walk in because I couldn't see anything through the store windows. But I opened the door and...wow! EVERY nook and cranny is stuffed with so many unique items. From larger-than-life figures, detailed masks, jarred specimens, horror-inspired clothing, creepy dolls, patches, pins, and SOOOO much more...there is something that will catch your eye at every single corner. I also thought it was cool that they had some interactive photo opportunities in the store! If you're a horror fanatic or love Halloween and miss having spooky stores to visit throughout the year, come here!! There is so much to look at and it really feels like you stepped into another (spooky) world!

We make sure to come down here when we get the chance. We drive from about an hour away just to check out what they have. Lots of different horror related items and all kinds of different collections of things. 110% recommend. The staff is always friendly and on point too.

Halloween!!!!! This store is amazing. Super kitschy, fun-filled cult classic wonder shoppe with all things gruesome, scary, and rad. They played good music (Ramones/ Blur etc) and each room had even cooler stuff in it. It's a little dank with that "musician practice space carpet smell" but it's filled with all things magical and witchy. Staff is very courteous and this is bound to get you in the spirit for the holidays. Go get your spook on and visit today!

There is so much to appreciate. This one feels a bit more spacious and I found myself in the store for 2 hours just taking my time looking through the aisles. Immediately upon walking in, I was enamored by their setup and selection of books. They have every genre you can think about. Some sections that caught my eye: a dedicated kids' section and a spot for when special guests come. They're also connected to Wildflower so you can come before or after a sip and bite. Changing Hands is so special because they care about community and also support second hand! Staff is eager to help you out and guide you if you have a specific book in mind. You can bring your well loved books in return for store credit and they're quite generous with the credit. They'll take your books depending on the condition and if they need stock for that book. The cherry on top- I love that I'm supporting a local bookstore. And you even get a stamp card with a discount once you've gotten it all stamped out. Their prices are also affordable, and you can choose from new or used books which is nice. Most of their used books are in pristine condition. I support Changing Hands through and through and am so glad I ran across this bookstore. If you're a book lover, you need to go!

It is OBVIOUS the staff here half ass their jobs as not only was this used book damaged to the point that I won't be able to read it in its entirety, I FOUND SOMEONES TAX DOCUMENTS IN THE BOOK and the staff DIDN'T CARE. This is without a doubt the worst store I have ever been to in my life. I am fuming and will not be coming back, which is incredibly disappointing as I was hoping to support a local business but this store is just an absolute nightmare. Review: The selection was alright at best, but the store was laid out horrifically. I struggled to find any of the books I was interested in, and the staff did not seem interested in helping me in any way. I struggled to find any of the Star Wars books I was interested in as they were just scattered randomly throughout the store whereas every single other bookstore I have been to have franchises that large in their own sections. And it wasn't just the Star Wars books, books from numerous series were scattered randomly across the store making it near impossible to find anything you'd actually want. Want the sequel to your favorite book? Well it's not going to be by the first one in the series, that's for sure. And the prices? Insane!! The used book prices are alright at best, thankfully I was lucky enough to find one decent deal on a book I had already wanted. But it was disappointing nevertheless, as a used paperback from the 90s shouldn't be $8. All of their new books are noticeably more expensive than any other bookstore I've ever been to, at least $5 to $10 more than even Barnes and Noble, who already charge too much IMO. And the staff? Horrifically unwelcoming. There was one or two employees there who made me feel welcome, greeting me on entry and being very polite. But when I found someone's PERSONAL TAX DOCUMENTS in the back of a book, the employee who I handed it off to seemed annoyed that I even acknowledged him, despite the fact that I found something incredibly personal in a used book that should have been checked before it was ever put on the shelf. I have NEVER seen something so unprofessional as I could've gone home with the document and taken this man's SSN (obviously I didn't, that's a felony and I'd rather not go to jail). And the cashier who checked me out seemed annoyed that I was even there. I understand that the economy is rough right now and that working in retail really isn't that fun or fulfilling, but at the same time experiences like that with staff are never fun. Work is hard, but I came in and was nothing but polite, minding my own business as I looked for a good book, so I don't understand why the staff couldn't have at least reciprocated with the slightest bit of positivity or kindness. They were obviously miserable and it made me feel unwelcome and has assured me that I will not be returning to this store. If you are looking for solid deals on books in the suburbs of Phoenix, you are much better off going to Bookmans, Half Price Books, or even Zia Records. Bookmans especially, as their prices on used books are unbeatable. Overall, you're better off skipping this one. While you might be able to find a decent deal, you'll be stuck searching for an hour with little to no help from the staff. It was an incredibly frustrating experience.

I've checked out other comic shops around the Valley, but none of them seem to have the Spawn selection that Collector's Choice does. They also have a great selection of graded comics and variants, which makes browsing even more fun. One thing to know before visiting: new releases and back issues are handled as separate transactions. So if you bring a mixed stack to the counter, expect to do one transaction for the new books and another for the back issues. I've never asked why they do it that way, but after shopping here several times, it's just something I expect. The staff has always been friendly and welcoming. During my last visit, the owner was interacting with customers by offering 25% off any item in the store to anyone who could correctly answer his random comic trivia question. Nobody got it right while I was there, but it was a really fun way to engage with customers. For the curious, the question was: "What was the final issue of Conan the Barbarian published by Marvel?"
