A hidden gem, Terror Trader is such a unique place! I've never seen such a selection of horror themed items. Everything you can imagine, they've got... AND MORE! Imagine Spirit Halloween on steroids. The store is separated into different sections that are run by different vendors. They also have rooms in the back like the room of oddities with creepy antique dolls and other weird items. There is also a rotating photo set that people can take pictures on and use the props! This time around they had The Saw movie set and it looked exactly like the movie. So cool!! One of the vendors in the shop offered different themed and surprise boo buckets and I ended up purchasing one for a gift. I think the value for most of these items is fair and priced right. Melda was super cool and told me about all of the events they put on, including the movie night they host at the Pollack Cinemas. Everyone working was really nice and friendly. What a cool horror store! Nice selection of everything horror! The store is surprisingly huge inside. There are a large variety of masks, tshirts, posters, horror films, mugs, decorations and loads more. Even if you're not looking for anything in particular you'll be sure to find at least a cool tshirt to take home for give to your favorite horror loving friend. This spot is great for all horror lovers & spooky gals! There is so much to see and it is fantastic that you can shop from a variety of local small artists all within one store. Everything in the store was well organized & each local seller had their own little section that featured their products. You'll find a large range of products from jewelry, to clothing and large pieces like replicas, masks and more. There is also a room with a mini museum of oddities, plus various full sized props on display. Prices vary from vendor to vendor, but over all the prices are pretty decent. There is a little something for everyone! The staff were friendly and everything is organized well. All of the staff were friendly when we were there, the store was easy to navigate. There were one or two small rooms that felt a little stuffy if too many people were in it at once, otherwise the store has plenty of space to roam around and look at everything. The life sized props and the life sized coffin in one of the smaller rooms make for some great free photo opportunities! I'm from California and we were going out to Arizona for a horror convention and my feed showed me this awesome place so one of the days while we were out there we decided to take a drive to Chandler Arizona, which was about 30 minutes from where we were and it was so worth it! We got there right when it was opening before I realized it there was a ton of people coming in at the same time. I absolutely loved this store the interactive rooms that they had all of the fun and unique items to buy the oddities the dolls, the paintings, the pictures, socks, and everything that you think was in this store that was horror themed . I was able to find Chucky Monster High doll that my daughter has been wanting forever and it was such a good price. I also bought a few T-shirts. I bought a few prints a coloring book a few witchy trinkets. I absolutely love this place. It was so worth it. I'm glad I had the opportunity to go. My co workers talk about this shop all the time and boast about how cool and spooky it is so I decided to finally make a visit. I brought my sister along and we were quickly greeted by loud music and some spooky looking monsters. We took our time to look at everything and we spent about an hour total. When we arrived it was fairly empty but by the time we left, it was busy. The artifact / display room gave me chills and for some reason I felt super "heavy" and light headed so I quickly walked out. I believe it said that everything that's there has a spirit attached to it or something like that... HEHE (nervous chuckle) We ended up buying a few items. My sister bought herself a mood ring and a ghost patch. I bought some dog treats, a cute little ghost, and some stickers. Overall we had an interesting time and will be back! My favorite store in Arizona! There's new stuff everytime I come here which is great! They have curated horror themed vendors that all sell unique and cool items ranging from homemade items to collectibles. I love the photo ops they have as well as the oddities section which is filled with paranormal items. All the workers and the vendors I've talked to are the nicest people and must really love what they do! I always have a great conversation with them. They also host events like their weekly spook-o-Rama movie night at the nearby cinema which is only $10! I recommend this store to all locals and visitors, it's a can't miss! read more

I've been looking for the Chucky x Hello Kitty dolls everywhere and this shop had it!! You can definitely spend over an hour in this store. Visited Terror Trader while having a friends adventure day. Stopped in unexpected and can say we spent a good 30-45 minutes walking around admiring displays and all the "terror" items for sale. From what I heard, most, if not all items sold here are from individual vendors. You can find anything from masks to stickers to posters, movies, plushies, spooky dolls, and so much more! Though I did not have much interaction with the staff, they seemed friendly and welcoming. I look forward to another random visit sometime, gotta see if anything new catches my attention. read more

This has got to be the coolest store I have ever accidentally stumbled upon. I was meeting a friend for lunch at a nearby restaurant and got there a little early. I decided to walk around in the plaza to kill time and saw a sign that said, "Horror Marketplace. Open Year Round." Curiosity intrigued. Not only do I love Halloween and spooky things, I also make short films. The last two I've made have been thriller/horrors, so I'm always looking for places to get cool props. I was a little nervous to walk in because I couldn't see anything through the store windows. But I opened the door and...wow! EVERY nook and cranny is stuffed with so many unique items. From larger-than-life figures, detailed masks, jarred specimens, horror-inspired clothing, creepy dolls, patches, pins, and SOOOO much more...there is something that will catch your eye at every single corner. Halloween!!!!! This store is amazing. Super kitschy, fun-filled cult classic wonder shoppe with all things gruesome, scary, and rad. They played good music (Ramones/ Blur etc) and each room had even cooler stuff in it. It's a little dank with that "musician practice space carpet smell" but it's filled with all things magical and witchy. Such a cool and unique place for all things horror! It's definitely a one in a kind shop. Very easy to find, it's pretty big on the inside and there's just so much to look at and experience. Like any small shop there are pros and cons. Business wise the only con is that they're not open 7 days a week, it's absurd they want days off! Especially Monday and Tuesday. Rude! It's full of booths/retail space that's stocked full of horror items and oddities created by incredible local vendors. We drove out from Glendale partly to check out this store and were not disappointed. It's totally a haven for any of you fellow weirdos who love horror, Halloween, or just general creepiness. It is WAY bigger than I expected - don't miss the multiple side rooms! I think we spent nearly an hour here thoroughly checking everything out. They have everything, ranging from classic horror to anime/manga horror to "creepy not scary" like Addams Family and Beetlejuice. There were movies, magazines, books, jewelry, and home decor all the way from movie posters to taxidermy and wet specimens (aka fetal pigs in jars) to cute bedazzled and flowered wall hangings. The Oddities room is tucked away within the podcasting area. It's full of unique, uh... collectibles... a lot of which we said "How did they even get ahold of this?" I don't want to spoil it though, just go see for yourself. I'm assuming the owner was the guy sitting behind the counter? He was super nice; he overheard us telling the cashier it was our first time in and asked what we thought of the place. Really enthusiastic and welcoming guy. Last note, and this might be a weird comment to make but - I also appreciated that we were greeted when we came in, but nobody was breathing down our necks while we browsed. Y'all know what I mean - when you then feel guilty if you don't end up buying anything. I absolutely had to buy a few trinkets here, so that didn't matter anyway, but yeah.
