I attended Revolution Church for about nine years before moving out of the area, and during that time I was there for the vast majority of Sundays and involved in a couple of small groups. Over nearly a decade, I saw certain things evolve while others stayed rock-solid. What never changed was how warm and genuine Pastor Zach and his wife, Amber, are. They make a real effort to connect with people on a personal level, and I'm grateful to have built a relationship with them. Another constant is what the church is built on - the Bible. The sermons, the mission, and the definition of what it means to follow Christ all come directly from Scripture. In a world that feels upside-down sometimes, Revolution has always kept a steady, Bible-centered direction. What did change is the size. Attendance has more than doubled since I first started going, all in the same building. On major holidays, it's packed to the point where seating gets tight. The truth is that the building wasn't originally designed to be a church, so the need for a dedicated worship space is real. Because of that, they do ask for donations once each service - just like any other church. I've seen a couple reviews saying they didn't like that, but in my experience the giving here is both necessary and used responsibly for actual church needs. In short: the pastors are genuinely great people, the congregation is welcoming and passionate about their faith, and the teaching stays firmly rooted in the Bible. Not every church environment fits everyone's preferences, but from my years there, it would be tough to find another that checks as many boxes as this one. read more

I've attended two Sundays and the Praise & Worship is Fantastic, the sermon is really great! However, unfortunately the members do not make any kind of eye contact. I have tried looking around and smiling and nothing... I am so disappointed, Sigh! I even called and told them I was new and asked if there were any groups I could join and was told to log in to their website and look to see what they had... :-( read more

My family and I have been coming here for ten years and have never left. I went to many churches before choosing this one and what initially drew me in was how welcomed we all felt. It's red carpet treatment . Everyone has a smile! From the parking lot greeter to to pastor when you sit down. Pastor Zac always has a great message, he's knowledgeable, energetic and speaks with love and passion. He really does care about everyone of us and wants us to know that God loves us the most and preaches Gods words into our lives, I trust him with that difficult job. read more

In the midst of the pandemic of 2020 God was calling us to new beginnings. We loved our church we had been serving for years but our season was shifting and God told my husband while driving by Rev Church "that is where I want you to go." And we did. And it was the best blessing God put on our hearts. I met Pastor Mallory first and she was welcoming from the start. We fell in love with the worship, Pastor Z preaches the Word in a way I am drawn to (direct and firm but with the heart for people), and my kids LOVE Rev Kids! My own daughter begin serving in Rev Kids herself and I'm grateful for a church that encourages the young ones to not just be there but also get involved in serving! Teaching them to have a heart like Jesus! It's also where my kids got baptized and built a relationship with Jesus! I've read the reviews and I can say that every church is not for everyone. I know the pastor does speak about "giving" but pretty much every church I've ever been to does, so it's just the way it's presented. There's not a ticket or a charge to get in, so you can give as you please. That's between you and God. The church is small and growing, and they are always trying new things and fun things for the kids. The message is positive, but not without accountability. A lot of churches with similar messages speak on the positivity of Christianity, but the personal accountability is not there. I'm not talking about bible thumping and hell threatening, just reminding us that our choices are impactful in our lives. The ambiance is more of a new age vibe, with worship being more contemporary, dim lighting, and an active technology department from what I can see. There is no pomp and circumstance (no big Sunday hats here) just a relatable pastor, contemporary worship, and friendly people. Keep in mind this is a growing church of a mixture of all kinds of people. I came here after visiting several different churches in a very trying part of my life, and Pastor Zak's message along with the worship really grounded me. I have not stopped going since. Our family went to Revolution for about a year until Pastor Zac started really pushing for money. He started with saying things like all your paycheck belongs to God. While I agree in theory, my paycheck does not belong to Zac. He suggested closing 401k's, selling assets (including jewelry) and giving "your biggest gift first so that he can get a building. When I asked for the budget, I was told it was on the website. You can see for yourself that is very general and gives very little detail. I asked again and told that I had to trust that they were using that money for God. Additionally, I had an issue where I needed to speak to Zac and was told the same as others posting reviews here, Zac does not speak to church members. There are NOT that may people that he could not meet and referring to other reviews here there is defiantly an inner circle. This is very defiantly a place that pushes "sacrificial giving" but when pressed what they spend their money on they are unwilling to share. You should be able to get a detailed budget based on their nonprofit status but for some reason they will not provide. Salvation and Sanctification is serious stuff and they miss the point. read more

After searching over a year & trying to find a home church, we discovered Revolution Church. It's much smaller than what I was use to, we previously went to CBC & Hillsong Phoenix. BUT what a great blessing this church has been. My family & I love being apart of the family. We love listening to the sermons every Sunday. The staff & volunteers are so genuine & real! The entire time they are telling you it is your duty and your calling to fill their "buckets" with your money and "donations." While they are doing that they are handing out door prizes to whoever wears the best camo, and let's not forget about the massive tent at the front door where they try to sell you T-shirts and Christian apparel. This isn't a church, this is a warehouse they try to convince you is a church and you should give them all of your money. They try to impress you with coffee, donuts, and neon green outfits, cones, and logo... Which seems to be more important than God to them? Don't go here, nothing good will come of it! read more

Revolution Church is a place where you can come just as you are!! It does not matter what you have done in your past or even what you did last night, it is okay to have questions about God and Jesus, and it is okay to be mad at God because here you are loved for who you are, a child of God. There is no dress code, you do not have to cover up your ink, and all you need to do is come. This is an open heart church with authentic, fun, yet truly deep messages; plus the worship is on point! Most of all, this is a fantastic church for kids! As a mom of special needs kids, I thank God for this church. The youth pastors have such heart that they make going to church engaging and FUN for the kids. I have not found a church so willing to not only accept my child's autistic needs, but also fully accommodate them with genuine care. On top of that they go above and beyond with amazing events and activities for the kids to enjoy, such as a petting zoo at the Christmas service and the incredible Vacation Bible School. All three of my kids have a blast learning about God at Revolution Church! I love, love, LOVE this church and if you are still unsure about it, just try it out! read more

I have been looking for a church for a while in my area. I'd been traveling across town but the drive is just too much. I'm skeptical about church. I think God ends where religion begins and this is not the kind of house of worship I want to be in. I found Revolution on Google of all places. I viewed a couple of sermons and found the pastor to be young but very in touch with God and has a gift for bringing the word to his flock in a unique way relating it to today's times. I'm 52 but in my heart I'm a child to God and have a passion for Him like a teen in love. I then moved on to Yelp because I can usually find the best criticism of anything on Yelp. There were only a few reviews, five I believe. All except one raved about Revolution. The one that gave Revolution a low rating, spent the entire time on his/her review complaining about money and that's all Revolution seemed to be about. Hum. Ok now I'm intrigued. So I got excited, got dressed and headed over for the 1pm service. My first impression was nope, they're in an office building like structure. But God stepped in and nudged me. Then some guy in the parking lot began writing something about NFL on the windshield of the car in front of me...okay nope...nope...no way. But again God. So I sat there and surveyed the scene a while. Got out of my car and headed in about 5 minutes before the service. When I walked in they had all of the back seats up to rows 1, 2 & 3 covered. Smart move! Keeps newcomers from taking the back seats nearest the exit. Well played! So I sat at the end of the second row. As people came in, they opened up rows. This keeps us close as Christians instead of sitting far from each other we have to be near each other. Again well played. The rest is history. I am so impressed with this little church. I feel God working through this young pastor. The praise and worship was fantastic and high energy even at the last service. Of the day. The message was presented in a way that was refreshing...real refreshing. I can't really explain but it's where I want to be. And where I believe God wants me right now. Try it out. Back to that one review and why I found it intriguing. Most people that complain about money and church are those that don't understand that we are the churches support system. If we don't give, it chokes the church and eventually it dies. So those who hear only the word money and not the word of God, don't know God at all and are most likely looking for a feel good place. Our purpose is to be the church and in doing so we also have so support it. Some may be able to give more than others of course but if we follow what we are told by God all of us will flourish.
