I visit a lot of thrift shops, because I read a lot and I'm a cheap bastard. This joint has one of the best selections of used books that I've seen anywhere, from Atlanta to Florida. The books were cheap...50 cents, if my memory serves. I didn't ramble around much, other than the book section. I had stuff to do and just wanted to find some books. But you'd be short-changing yourself if you like to read and don't visit this place and buy something. It's for a great cause and you should always support your local businesses. Just don't think about the dirty fingers of whoever read that used book the last time. They probably licked their fingertips before they turned every page.

When she found out we were on an Elvis pilgrimage she showed us all kinds of treasures she has, and told us some really great stories. I fell in love with an owl journal and he helped me get one that was wrapped and ready. The store is a dream for anyone that interested in art, whimsy, color, and fun. If my husband had not been waiting in the car, I could have stayed for hours. If it was in my town, I would be stopping in weekly. There is such a wide range of items it is hard to describe: jewelry, fashion, wind chimes, home decor, things you've just got to have right now.
