She had a terrible experience as well. The day after our date I read Kelly's 18 one star reviews, and was compelled to tell my story. I hired Revolution Dating at the beginning of 2023 and signed a one-year, $15,000 contract based on the promise of a high-touch, personalized matchmaking service. In the beginning, there was some communication and a couple of matches, but things quickly tapered off. Midway through the contract, the matchmaker I was working with essentially disappeared. I stopped receiving introductions, updates, or even responses to my outreach. I followed up multiple times--emails, texts, calls--and received nothing in return. It was as if the service I paid for simply ceased to exist. What makes this especially frustrating is the lack of accountability. At no point did anyone from the company acknowledge the radio silence or attempt to make things right. I was left with the clear impression that once they had my money, their interest in delivering what was promised evaporated. For a business that sells itself on trust, relationships, and human connection, the experience I had was the opposite. Terrible scamming company. I went for an introductory meeting when I first moved to the area. The owner, at the beginning of meeting was very jovial and nice. However, when I began to ask to view some of the men in the dating "pool" and how much the membership would cost me she began to change her demeanor very abruptly. Then, we I said that I wanted to think over the $4,000 membership she got nasty and said that I only had one opportunity and to never even think about coming back. The owner of Revolution Dating, Kelly, is refusing to return my deposit of $5000. I went to her office and signed up and paid through Zelle. I had 3 days to cancel. The very next day I called and told her I changed my mind and I would like my $5000 returned. That was November 2022. It is now June 21, 2023 and she is continuing to refuse to return my deposit. Even though they are quite thorough in their screening process, they are incredibly random with their matches. 95% of the "matches" didn't even respond. The few that did, didn't have anything in common with me. During my 12 month membership....3 first dates, "stood up" for a 4th (with no apology or even concern) I have said this during my entire membership and I said it to them many times. I believe they have the resources and talent but, for some reason, not the desire. I guess if they make too many matches, they will lose members. As the other reviews, I felt suspicious of the service, as you are only allowed to date one person at a time. You do not get to choose, it is all up to Kelly. They do not tell you how many times they will set you up or the amount of men in your age preference that are currently available (no details provided). They say that there are thousands of men in their system, but it isn't true. You are not allowed to browse, not even once, to prove the amount of clients. Once they told me the price during the interview and I said how surprised I was, the director changed her tune and appeared to want me out of the office "I am wasting my time." The interview was not about finding different choices or a different social circle. It was about finding you a husband. The theme was "if you are so attractive and successful how come you haven't met the right man," "your yin & yang seems balanced you should not have a problem meeting someone here." It is like a catalog bride, but brides do not get to chose. I recognized two men in the pictures of the social activities in their facebook and marketing sites. The men also provide reviews (Don W.) and they both work for Revolution Dating, one is a photographer and the second a motivational speaker. I was a Roccos Tacos in PGA by accident when they had a get together. Their choices in men was very limited. I did not find any of them attractive, carefree or friendly. The crowd was a bit stuffy and the women that were attractive appeared a bit desperate. They also try to sell the service by telling you that only wealthy men are members, but some men have complimentary memberships, some are recruited by their employees at bars, and some look outdated from a different century (odd looking), Remember that $10,000 for a rich man, is the same as $200 for shoes or clothing for a normal professional person. No comparison. I found the approach to be manipulative.
