This used to my go to place. As a medical patient with disabilities I loved there one on one discussion on products and what could help. After recent interactions with Michael regarding sweet pea rso oil it is clear that they only care about sales and not backing up the products the sell. I use this rso to elevate symptoms of ezcma, anxiety and ibs. Now im out $120 and can't even get my medicine. My body is stressing out now. After spending a ton of money at this place and being a loyal customer I thought I would call and ask to speak to Dan the general manager. This company does not care about patients or people in general, just profits. Back when they were New Age Care and Revolution's products were still quality I enjoyed shopping here. A lot has changed and the staff is not helpful or friendly anymore and they always seem short staffed. Their new online ordering system/website sucks and is not very user friendly, compared to when they used iheartjane which worked just fine. And I hate using their app. Clearly this was just a way to collect user's data and I just cannot stand behind this company anymore. Also, I wish Rev would bring back the Spectra CBD line for medical patients like myself who it really helped, but clearly all they care about is recreational sales. Very disappointing.. read more

Great weed shop in Mt Prospect, although at times I buy product, and receive a different looking flower, often with cookies, or Fig Farms but even Revolution. I wish they would fix that because it's annoying seeing a super frosty purple beautiful nug and you open the bag to some regular Illinois med weed that all smells the same, looks the same and smokes the same. But since this has been an issue I buy mostly rosin and wax and vapes from here and they are always great (rosin was a little dry had to cure for a few days) although it tasted great. I went there for the first time because it was on my way and I am a medical patient and the representative was very rude. Was not educational was not assisting me and advising what I should order and as a medical patient and a medical dispensary I would assume that the representative would be able to assist me in deciding what is better for a certain things or at least guide me as simple as a sativa is this an Indica is that but she couldn't even do that and then when I reached my Medical Cannabis purchase limit, she didn't tell me what my limit was. I have NEVER been a victim of a bait and switch quite like I was today at Enlightned. I placed an online order as my "profile" was not found as this was another dispensary about a year ago. First of all, I waited almost 20 minutes to get in to see a budtender. He looked up my order and then proceeded to tell me that he had to cancel my order and replace the order under my wife's profile. I am her CAREGIVER and should have a SEPARATE profile from her. Once they placed the order under her profile it completely wiped out the "first time buyer" discounts and INCREASED my order from $82 to $115. BAIT AND SWITCH. I have never experienced this with my home dispensary and this is why I will consider NEVER returning to your dispensary. This was complete BS and should have never happened. At my home dispensary I have my own profile to place caregiver orders and my wife has her own profile to order her own items. Why is this not the case here and why was hit with a bait and switch??? We ordered for pickup nd this worker was in his car got out and told me my boyfriend wouldn't be let in until he moved the car I didn't see an issue with where we parked there was no sign indicating no parking or handicap. There was also no yellow lines maybe if you don't want someone parking there get them to re paint your parking lot. He continues to come in the store once my boyfriend was basically already paying just to instigate. He could've just stayed in his car nd didn't need to be rude. Bait and switch is what they're good at here. After ordering online and entering in my 50% off discount code I received an updated email confirmation removing the 50% off and replacing it with a measly $12 off new customer discount. They don't answer the phone or respond to email, so I canceled the order and scratched this place off the list. Don't believe any of their positive Google reviews. I've only been going here for 2 months now, but so far, so good. I like the range and variety of strains and they have much better pricing than my previous medical dispensary. Additionally, they offer a 20% veteran discount, which is generous from what I've seen. Each staff member I've encountered, both front and back, has been courteous and friendly. I've had one "meh" interaction but I don't really blame him, it was really busy. I've asked no less than 6 people pretty complex CBN/CBD medical questions and every one of them has known what to recommend or offered as a reward. Overall nice little place that keeps improving and expanding. I only wish they offered curbside due to covid and since I can't leave my dogs in the car with a/c blasting for too long. read more

I have been visiting Enlightened since I got my medical card in March. Most of the staff there are helpful but Pete ever since I met him one day when I walked in there has been by far the most helpful employee! He is incredibly educated on the subject of cannabis and truly knows what he is talking about when it comes to the grow and quality of any of the product you are purchasing, along with the effects and strain lineage. when I first had a conversation with Pete and I heard all of this, I was slightly overwhelmed. but every time I go in I have managed to learn something new and get guidance about how to best use cannabis from him. You reserve a 25% thc flower online and get a confirmation, then when get there and they sell you the same flower of a different worse batch with a 19% thc and say it's because the state forces them to. Unfriendly- detached service. Most of the employees seem really bummed to be there. Plus they don't honor their In-Store Discounts (Veteran, Seniors, Student, etc.) when items with brand Discounts are purchased, whereas other dispensaries stack the discounts i.e. Senior Discount 10% plus Brand discount 25 % you get a 35% discount,( like at other dispensaries that actually care about patients/customers e.g. Nature's Care, Rolling Meadows.) Watch out for the specials here too- they unload bottom of the barrel, on the shelf for months, crapplola- you are better off paying full (albeit expensive) price for the mediocre stuff rather than less for unusable trash. read more

When I asked the Reddit mod working at the front desk a question about their rewards system he completely ignored me for a solid 10 seconds before he answered. The best dispensary I have been to by a wide margin. 1. Best military discount at 20%- everywhere else is 10% except one other at 15%. 2. Customer Service-Very good 3. The only place that list terpenes at their facility for customers. 4. Will produce lab reports for all products if requested. 5. Most revolution products anywhere. Biggest drawback- No curbside service for covid. Now lets address the bad reviews- They were very very unlucky or the person leaving review is the problem. Patients need to educate themselves on the different cultivators, and take charge of figuring out what products and what parts of the products help them the most (terpenes, thc, cbd, other cannaboids, or unknown plant material). This dispensary is owned by Revolution so most of their products are from Revolution. Revolution review. Only company to consistently offer Dragon Tears which is purest concentrate. Only company to offer Dragon Tears in vape. Only company I know of that all products are full spectrum. Full spectrum tinctures including CBD. Many different strains produced consistently Revolution is serious about pushing cannabis science forward. Drawbacks- No pre-rolls (pre-rolls effectively destroy your Terpenes and full spectrum benefits) 2. Big evil multi-state company I have been to 5 dispensaries in area, and check stock and prices at 7-8 different dispensaries every week. Most places offer an abundance of different cultivators and strains at the same price but 75% of there products are from sub-par cultivators. Prices are always based on the price the dispensary pays for product across all dispensaries so price is not different except $5-$10 at most. If a dispensary is owned by a cultivator you will get cheaper prices for those products. As a side note: This is a medical only facility. That was decided by the city not Revolution. read more

I like the shop, although the inventory tends to be variable. One week available, the next not. The variety is exceptional, but if you find something you like, it may or not be around next month. Product tends to be good quality, with well measured doses and promised effects materializing on cue. Some of their cbd topicals are great. Some of their edibles very effective pain relievers. Some are effective against peripheral neuropathy and others not as much as yoga. Thc and cbd 1:1 combos in the edibles, especially the fishies, knock me for a loop. I've been going for about two years now. The first time, I asked the security guy if he was there to protect me from getting mugged. I turn 75 next month. I am always greeted by name and treated respectfully. They usually like my coat or hat. They're very sweet. read more

Most dispos in the area don't offer the no 30% tax for medical patients but enlighten does. They also always have sweet deals, it's the best dispo in the Chicagoland area but again not a rec patient. read more

This is the only dispensary I have been to but I don't understand the negative reviews. I have been a patient at this location since 2017 and although ownership and staff have changed, I have always been greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff. I think they can improve on being better stocked. There are times they are out of a product that I've ordered in the past but the staff is able to suggest a comparable product. They receive 2 stars because they have a decent selection of concentrates and flowers, but they are overpriced. The people here are extremely dry; not as friendly as my regular dispensary. It was hard to get a smile out of anyone here. That reason alone makes going back extremely difficult for me. The budtender I had was not knowledgeable about anything. I asked several product questions and he did not have an answer or recommendation for anything. They do not carry PAX pods and the budtender tried to tell me it was because the batteries are overpriced. No dude, you probably do not carry them because Revolution Brands does not make them. PAX batteries are $25. How is that overpriced? Unlike all the other dispensaries I have visited, this place does not sell any other smoking supplies/devices here. I do think that is odd. Didn't see any rolling papers, glass, electric rigs, NOTHING! The waiting room is pretty large. The back where you go to purchase your medicine is EXTREMELY small. No patient privacy whatsoever. Their rewards program is not as lucrative as my go-to dispensary. The online ordering system is nice (and SLOW), but not worth overpaying for products. They did not give me any samples or swag and I spent $500...most likely will never go back here. read more

The store is micromanaged to such a degree that the employees are stripped of any empowerment. Product selection is now very limited and per management, they will not special order anything for you (unlike every other dispensary). The loyalty program. Changes whenever they feel like. The manager would not allow me to redeem my points that I had been saving for two items yesterday......the staff told me I could just come in tomorrow and do the other redemption as one transaction....but when I showed up today the manager AMANDA refused to honor what HER employees promised. Also I have come in the past to redeem points with no issue. To this...AMANDA said "well it's the new policy". Do yourself a favor and wait until management gets their act together before changing to this dispensary. The menu list usually is incorrect as I have come in on numerous occasions only to find out they dont have the product that they themselves listed in specials and MANAGEMENT is too busy or not technologically literate enough to update the online menu themselves. That said the rest of the team is great. A new manager with some experience and customer service skills could definitely improve the atmosphere. Hope this review helps people avoid any mistakes I have made. I will update it if things change so this remains an accurate representation of the service level you can expect from this establishment. They have a nice range of flower, I personally think revolution is one of the best in Illinois, and the prices are cheaper than those in the city...I've been to multiple sunnyside locations along with D33, and Numed. The service for the most part is nice, I kind of felt rushed considering there was no one else in the dispensary, trying to have a conversation.
