There were barely anyone there so I could chit chat coming from back of store. I spent quite a few minutes looking for product myself but was unable to find it. I decided to get help from pharmacist. When I walked over I realized that the conversation that I heard the whole time was between pharmacist and another customer. I waited in line while they were still chi chatting and it sounded more like socializing than consulting. The pharmacy tech came over after I was there for several minutes but she couldn't help me and asked me to wait for the pharmacist. I went back waiting for the pharmacist who was still socializing with the same customer. She didn't even try to look at me. I guess socializing was more important to her than helping a kid who was in pain. This was a night shift just in case you care to know.

If this was true (which I believe it not) they would have been aware of the shortage well before my arrival time and could have informed me so as to save me the drive that day. This is not the first time I get poor service at this store. I then called Rexall and received the shot a few days later. Shoppers is a place to avoid, there are better alternatives.

This Walgreens has lost or messed up 3 of 7 prescriptions that we have had called in over the last 4 months. One, I went through the drive thru and they said they didn't have it. So I called the pediatrician's office and they said they called it in. I went inside to double check and the guy behind the counter found that it was in there but had been deleted for some reason. One, I had a family member go in to pick my scripts as I was at home sick, they said they had three scripts (which was right) but then they only gave her two and told her that if the third one was really mine I would need to come back in and get it. It was just prescription strength vitamin D. I went back in the next day and they claimed they never had the third prescription. After this last time I have change pharmacies. I would not recommend this pharmacy.

I shop at this particular Shoppers Drug Mart a couple times a month. Usually because I have run out…read moreof grapefruit juice (which I need to take with a medication) and they're one of the two pharmacies within driving distance to my house that carries this particular juice. Tonight, the juice was $5.99 which is a little steep, but I'm used to paying that much for it at Shoppers so, that's fine. What I took exception to was the full price juice with an expiry date within the same week ( i.e. good until December 10). It takes me two weeks to go through 2 L of juice, therefore only half of it was going to be consumed by the best before date. I asked the cashier (who was very polite) if they could check and see if there was juice with a better freshness date - and if not, if it could be discounted. He phoned his supervisor....No and no. I told him that that's fine but I want them to know they lost a pretty good customer because of their non customer-centric policy. What I didn't mention (because it was only the cashier I spoke with) - every time I walk into their store I walk out with about $60-$80 typically worth of products but I'll be taking future business to Rexall from now on. I prefer Shoppers to Rexall (because of selection) but Rexall excels in customer service and I have no doubt this would have been handled differently by Rexall (they would have discounted it by 50% and apologized for the oversight because old juice should automatically be discounted).

They gave me the wrong wheelchair and was promised they would deliver the right one Monday. Many Mondays came and went. I continued to call but the homecare person in Niagara Falls never called back. 6 months of renting I never got an invoice yet my credit card was being charged. When I no longer needed the items and they were picked up I finally got invoices. As I figured what they charged and what they quoted was different. $400 difference in 6 months. After I brought this to their attention I have been ignored. Never have they called me back or discuss it with me when I call. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere.

So they have now a brand new store front with the hole works of Pharmacy, Mini Grocery Store, Cosmetics etc. Went there the other day and actually was really surprised about the amazing price on butter and cold cuts!! Haven't seen such a good price anywhere else...not sure if it was just a sale or not...
