I called the parts store to see if they had a belt and they did. I then asked for a mobile mechanic recommendation. JCP was in the store at the time so I talked with him to make arrangements. They were there within 30 minutes and were able to make the repair. When I was sorting out payment he asked if the veteran was my friend. I informed him that I had just met him and saw he needed help. There was a pause and then JCP kindly deducted $100 from the bill.
