The worst medical practice I've ever been to. Completely incompetent staff. The woman in billing could not figure out how to properly bill my insurance... and instead of calling BCBS to sort it out and figure out why her claims kept getting denied, she told me that I must have been lying about having medical insurance and that I couldn't be seen until I settled my $1200 balance. Keep in mind that I had been in contact with BCBS multiple times who explained to me that the issue was on her end and not with my coverage, because she was filing the claims incorrectly. When I tried to tell her this and requested her to call BCBS, she told me she "couldn't get ahold of them". If you're in medical billing and can't get ahold of a major insurance company, maybe you're in the wrong line of work. Ultimately, they kicked me out after weeks of going back and forth with them because I told that their incompetence wasn't my problem. About two weeks after kicking me out, I was notified that my balance was settled and *GASP* my insurance approved the claim once it was filed correctly! But thank you for denying me medical care as a pregnant Type 1 diabetic for absolutely no reason other than your own delusion. Avoid this place at all costs. read more

we been here since 8:30 this morning so that when 9:45 came around my brother would one of the fi one to been seen but that wasn't the case we where told that that was the arrival time the receptionist is very rude and doesn't care for the patients that are here how long it takes them to see anyone here people been here since 8 o'clock and they haven't been seen I do not recommend this place for anyone. I recommend to go elsewhere. read more

Don't expect to see Dr. Ortiz after the first visit unless you have severe thyroid issues. If you only want to see a PA then this is the place for you. Dr Ortiz told me she does not treat hormonal imbalances because she was not trained for that and was not sure how she past her boards. Part of being an endocrinologist is treating hormone imbalances. If you want a PA to hand out your prescriptions based on meeting notes from Dr Ortiz then this is the place for you. read more

They give you an appointment at a certain time and then they call you 30 min past your appointment to tell you they will call you 4 hours later. Super inconvenient to move stuff around for appointments they schedule you for and do whatever they want with our time . read more

I haven't seen Dr. Ortiz, but my appointments have been with Claudia Maldanado, Dr. Ortiz's PA. Claudia has been great. I've never had a request to alter my appointment. read more
