We also talked about cake flavors via email and come to find out on our wedding date, she never ordered one. I mean. Why would we talk about cake flavors and then not add it to the bill?! It was my fault also for not double checking the bill. What wedding doesn't have a cake!?!? When I called her , because she just left without saying anything, all she said was "all I can do is bring a fake cake". How are my guests going to eat this. So I had family run out and buy a few cakes. It was embarrassing . Being a nurse working 12 hours shifts at night, working 4-5 days a week. It was hard to meet up. Because I work 7pm to 7 am. So when I emailed her a few times to fill out the layout for the reception, she never replied. My husband called her a few times and she said to re-email it back. But did I ever get a response? No. I ended up just filling out the layout myself. When I asked her what her PayPal account name was, that's when I got a response right away. Seriously , I would not recommend them to anyone. Which is a shame, because my sister hired them a few years ago and they did fabulous. I'm not sure what happened for my wedding but it was awful. Very unfortunate.

Two weeks before our wedding they tried to change our rehearsal day because they double booked. The day of the wedding we showed up at the agreed upon time and the coordinator was meeting with another couple in our space and our chairs were NOT set up yet. The drink tickets had the wrong last name on them (my last name which is my ex husband's name). My fiance was livid. Then we were told the coordinator picked up an undisclosed amount of PREPAID drink tickets off the table that guests should have been able to use. Then in the middle of a pose the owner stomped over and made us move out of a grassy area my photographer had shot in many times before. Mind you, we were NOT on the green or in anyone's way. The owner is rude, has zero customer service skills and her organization and communication skills are terrible!! I would not recommend this venue for your event. While it's lovely and the food is good, it's not worth the headaches.

We had a fairly complicated wedding: 8 people each for our groomsmen and bridesmaids, for a total of 16 people in our combined wedding party, a two-day reception, karaoke, trivia, and Brittany helped us glide through it all. During the dinner rehearsal Brittany was able to break down the ceremony into precise steps and take command, resulting in a very concise 30 minute rehearsal and so much more confidence going into the wedding. The months leading up the wedding are critical. Brittany helped us get all of our ducks aligned, and is a wonderful hype-woman leading up to your wedding. Planning can get very stressful and having a 3rd perspective is such a breath of fresh air. Seriously would've ripped my own head off without her reassurance. On the day of the wedding she took SO much of the stress off of our hands. She knew the plan like the back of her hand and was able to direct everyone, allowing us to catch our breath. For couples who are thinking about whether a coordinator is worth it: I cannot stress enough how stressful the day would be without someone running the show, and that someone is going to be you if you don't hire a good coordinator.
