After three visits, two blood tests, multiple radiographs, and obtaining authorization from my medical insurance for an intra-articular injection, I was finally scheduled and fully prepared to receive the procedure on 2/25/26. I even took the day off from work and barely slept the night before due to the stress and anticipation. Upon arriving at the medical facility, I was surprised and disappointed to learn from the nurse that my appointment had been scheduled only as a follow-up -- not for the injection. All follow-ups had already been completed, and the insurance authorization was in place, so it was unclear why another one was necessary. It's deeply frustrating that a professional medical service could be so careless as to change the purpose of my appointment without any prior notice. As a result, I canceled the visit and will not be returning to this facility for future care. read more

I am beyond disappointed with my repeated experiences at this rheumatology office. If I could give negative stars, I would. Back in October/November, I had an extremely poor experience with Dr. Amador. It was serious enough that I contacted the office manager directly. Instead of addressing the situation appropriately, I was persuaded to give the practice another chance and schedule a follow-up appointment with a different physician so I could receive the care I needed. I scheduled that follow-up appointment months in advance. I received multiple confirmations that my appointment was at 9:55 AM. I confirmed my attendance ahead of time and proactively provided my new insurance information, including the insurance card and policy number, well in advance to ensure everything would be processed without issue. On the day of my appointment, I arrived early at 9:08 AM. At 10:00 AM--after I had already been waiting for nearly an hour--they asked me again for my insurance card because they had not processed it. Due to their failure to handle the insurance ahead of time, I was left sitting in the waiting room for over two hours. It was only after I repeatedly asked staff for updates that someone casually informed me that my appointment was now at 11:45 AM. No one had notified me of this change. No one explained it. No one apologized. They simply moved my appointment without telling me and allowed me to sit there indefinitely without communication. This is completely unacceptable and shows a complete lack of respect for patients' time and wellbeing. To make matters worse, I am pregnant, and being forced to sit in a waiting room for hours due to the office's administrative failures and lack of communication is both irresponsible and inconsiderate. This is now my second negative experience with this practice. Between poor physician interaction and extremely unprofessional administrative handling, this office has demonstrated a consistent pattern of disorganization, lack of accountability, and disregard for patients. Extremely difficult to get in touch with this office. Patients are not able to contact the office directly, rather an answering service is used to pass messages along however even those marked "urgent" are not returned within a reasonable timeframe. Even with a scheduled appointment, the wait times are incredibly long, with little to no communication or updates. The office staff often seems indifferent to patients' needs. I had a terrible experience with Rheumatic Wellness. I saw Dr. Jennifer Vega for a follow-up and was given paperwork for blood work. Unfortunately, I forgot to bring the paperwork with me, and Quest Diagnostics would not proceed without it. On June 15, 2025, I called their office early in the morning and spoke to Paola, asking if the lab order could be emailed to me or faxed directly to Quest. I ended up calling more than six times, and nobody was able to help. I was passed around, put on hold, and no one could send a simple email or fax. I later spoke with Martin and asked to speak to a supervisor. He told me Alejandro, the manager, would call me back in 45 minutes. That call never came. After more than 2 hours, I gave up and drove to the office myself. When I got there around 1:45 PM, the front desk staff seemed completely unprepared or might have been not fully trained . It took over 30 minutes just to get a copy of my lab order, and only Lindsay M was able to help me. She was the only one who seemed to know what she was doing. What bothered me the most was that I asked to speak to Sandra Mora, the Director of Operations. I could literally see her in front of me, yet I was told she had been "in a meeting" since 8:00 AM. No one could take one minute to send an email or fax, and that is completely unacceptable. The staff, with the exception of Lindsay, was disorganized, unresponsive, and unprofessional. This kind of service is unacceptable for any healthcare provider. I will not be returning and I absolutely do not recommend this place. I am actively looking for a new provider that can treat patients with the professionalism and care they deserve. read more

DO NOT BOTHER. GO ELSEWHERE! I waited almost 4mos for an appointment, only for it to be rescheduled. In fact, 4/5 appointments had to be rescheduled due to 'office/computer' improvements. My second appt was cancelled because I did not get blood work done. It wasn't done, because I was NEVER given an Rx for it. Despite making appts to specifically meet with Dr. Kromo, I was seen by the NP. FINALLY on my 4th appt I got to actually meet with Dr. Kromo. She is very nice. She wanted to start me on infusions. My insurance denied it, stating I needed to fail two other meds prior to infusions. Of course she wanted me on an infusion...they have their own infusion center $$$$ ;) For ONE month I was told by the office they are waiting for insurance to approve. I called my insurance and they told me they denied the claim two days after it was sent. ONE month WASTED! I attempted to call the office to tell them that; I left messages for TWO WEEKS ....No return phone call! That is when I was DONE! I went to the office, retrieved my records and left. The office staff 'appears nice', yet they are INCOMPETENT! An answering service answers ALL the calls. Phone calls take forever to be returned.....Actually, my repeated ph calls went unanswered for TWO weeks! I wasted 11mos with this office with NO TREATMENT plan initiated! I am an RN. I have NEVER had to leave a practice, nor have I ever encounter such incompetency in a medical office. read more

The experience with the providers is great but I have been given an appointment and later have been told that it's not in their system, that I have to reschedule and that it's not their fault. The lack of accountability is astonishing and unprofessional. I had to go to the office to straighten out their appointment error in person because they refused to allow me to speak to the office manager. The service I receive from the P.A. is smooth, friendly and professional but they need to revamp their office practices and take responsibility for their computer input errors. Their office staff don't care that people take off from work to come to the doctor and that their errors impact people's work and financial lives. I went to my appointment on Thursday morning. mind you took the day off of work. The front desk was normal like any doctor office would be. Saw the doctor everything was good. Here is the bummer. Doctor said he was going to prescribe me a medication for my pain sent me to do lab work all was good. Thursday I called before six to make sure that they had sent prescription to pharmacy and to no avail nothing I was told the notes weren't inputed into the system. Took friday off work to do the labs to start to pinpoint my pain. Mind you the office was closed Friday. Here's the punch line. Called Monday morning they said it can take up to 48 hours and they had all my calls and not even a phone call. I called after two pm and they still had no answer just that the notes weren't put in the system. So I went ahead and said to cancel everything I will go to another doctor if they have no time. I was called back and told that they were try to resolve the problem with the office manager. All they were doing is buying time to get it all fixed and the manager not even having the decency to call me. Sent the receptionist to call. So I will never use this office again. I made an appointment with another doctor. Ill be calling my insurance provider to let them know what happened. So please don't waist your time going. read more

WARNING! Do not waste your time making an appoint with Dr. Olga Kromo. In my 51 years of life I've never met a more unprofessional physician. I waited 2 months for my appointment, arrived early the day of the appointment, only to be told by the office staff that the doctor couldn't see me because it was taking too long to verify my insurance. I had offered to pay out of pocket from the very begging to save time because the staff member was not very knowledgeable in insurance verification and since I had waited so long for the appointment I didn't want to come back. First off I spoke with Eric over the phone, and he was incredibly patient and a great listener. He set me up. The ladies at the front desk were great with me. I have been coming here for years. Love Dr. Kromo, however keep in mind that you will only see her for your first few appointments. Once you are a "established" patient, you will be scheduled with one their NPs. I've been to a few other RA offices and none do this. However when I first went to this office it was amazing! Now... not even close. They have changed everything, their new office is wonderful but the staff- complete joke. The young ladies in the front are rude, unprofessional, and extremely unorganized. One even brings her dog to the office which is supper cute but expect everyone to be distracted while it's there. Office now tells you that you MUST arrive a minimum of 45 mins early for your appointment (crazy) yet when you arrive you still have to wait an average of 1-1.5 hours additional to the 45 mins to be seen. The last time I was there my NP didn't even know I was waiting in a room to be seen. Bright side to arriving early, you get to hear all the tea the front girls talk - they talk about patients too. read more
