I mentioned some of my issues to Nancy and she had me lay down and inserted the acupuncture needles in different parts of my body. She told to lay still and she'll be back in half an hour. She said it'd be best if I could go to sleep. I tried closing my eyes and relaxing. Idk if it was the new environment, but I was a little anxious and just kept looking at my watch. That's on me. It was closer to an hour when she returned. At that point I was just anxious to get the needles out and leave. In hindsight: the first half an hour was pretty relaxing. the warmth from light was nice and I even told her it feels similar to a hot stone massage. Nancy suggested I come back for treatment once a week. I'm planning to do a couple more visits since I've read such good things about Nancy. P.S the needles don't hurt. The initial prick might sting just a little but after that it's all good.

I have been going to Modality for a little over a year now seeing primarily Jenn, the owner. I'd been experiencing pain for about six months before finally making an appointment so didn't expect all of the damage I'd done to be erased in one visit. Jenn asked a lot of questions and got to work. At first I saw Jenn every few weeks. She has used a combination of deep tissue massage, cupping, medi-cupping and has also used a variety of CBD lotions dependent on my pain levels. I really appreciate not only Jenn's abilities as a talented massage therapist, I have also gained so much knowledge from her on other holistic approaches to my healing: stretches and herbal remedies being only a few. Every appointment starts with a discussion about any issues I've had....and lots of times I just tell her to find the areas that seem tight...it really is amazing how she can find the spots to make other parts of my body feel better! Jenn is incredibly dedicated to her business and clients and I appreciate that she is willing to go above and beyond when we discuss issues I experience and how I can supplement my massages. Although I haven't taken advantage of some of the other offerings at Modality, I think that her addition of other treatment methods shows her dedication to providing options for anyone.
