I was delighted to see the place I live in Niagara Falls fell within their 15-mile delivery radius as well. I placed the order 11pm at night and the next morning by noon had the box delivered on my doorstep. The gentleman who delivered it left a voicemail that he was almost there. I missed him, but when I went to my doorstep saw the box! It included flat 12 mushrooms and incredible eggs. I thought $30 was a very fair value for all included, especially with the delivery. I've already told some friends who have ordered from them...and it's all thanks to Frank's initial review! Do be warned, quantities are large for many items. But you can always share. Have them delivered to you and then friends or family can pick up their share from your step. It's also a great time to stock up on things to freeze, dry, or can. So far, I've gotten cucumbers, green peppers, tomatoes, and red grapes. The quality of everything was good. Obviously it's fresh produce, so you'll want to check through because there's always a bad one here or there. That's normal. But on the whole, I felt very good about the quality of the food I received and I will absolutely be ordering more. I may or may not have ordered my produce at 1:30 in the morning. (I mean, why not?) The free delivery was fantastic. It says within 72 hours and I had it by 5:30PM. I was very impressed. Cannot recommend Produce Peddlers enough. The new location is very convenient. The produce always looks fresh and beautiful. I'm not sure how organic or not everything is, but it's mostly 'homegrown', whatever that means. In spring, you can buy seasonal plants; perennials and annuals, including hanging flower baskets. In the autumn, they offer the best ever collection of pumpkin varieties, and potted garden mums. This week, I plan to try out the "Produce Box" offer. I wonder if I'll manage to get one, since it looks like they're usually all sold out pretty fast.

They make really good milk (make... lol) and they sell it at cheap prices although nothing like the delicious stuff in England. They make really good lemon iced tea as well, which I used to be addicted to which caused me to gain a lot of weight. Like 20 lbs or more. Like not kidding. I definitely recommend getting milk from these people over some of the brand names. It's good. It's actually a collective of dairies but they make good stuff and I appreciate that. Having said that, milk is absolutely poisonous and you should just go ahead and switch to Almond Breeze and Almond Breeze Chocolate for your own health.

But in this little 14 oz cup, there are 2.8 teaspoons of sugar (14 grams!) That is a heck of a lot of sugar, for one little cup of yogurt. 10 of those grams are added sugar, what the heck are they thinking. These products get handed out at food pantries, the last thing people at food pantries need is 14 grams of sugar in a small cup of yogurt. Very disappointing. Love their insignia and that it's all family owned in my home state, but who feeds their family this much sugar? Definitely wouldn't feed these to my kids and I'll have to check the labels on all my yogurt purchases going forward. The three stars are because it tastes good but yogurt should taste good without 2.8 spoons of sugar.

I browsed through the store just to see wjat they carried. They have a variety of merchandise. Food items, beauty products, hair pieces, decorative pieces for the home etc. The food selection is limited but seeing as thry are a speciality market, that is to be expected. They do have some frozen veggies and fish that caught my eye. Other food items inclued canned goods, dried beans, rice, sauces, powders etc that are good for african recipes. Not a great selection of any fresh produce, but I often need just one or 2 tomatoes, and instead of going to the store I can walk here, which I am excited for. The store is clean and the staff inviting. I will definitely be stopping there again on many occassions.

It was towards the end of the picking season, so at first the berries seemed scarce, but once you push aside the bushes, some prime strawberries appear. They came to $4.25 a quart ( you pay after you are finished) .... we also indulged in some milkshake treats after spending some time picking in the sun. (they were out of straws, but I improvised) I chose a Raspberry one, it hit the spot! Next up, cherry picking!
