WOW ! Remodeled, bright and shiny, including new red carts…read more Store layout is phenomenal, and phenomenally clean with wider aisles and shelves stocked full. I haven't seen full shelves like this since... well, maybe never, but certainly not since 2020. Whatever you're looking for, you will probably find it at this Tops. They had their ribbon cutting ceremony today (: I wasn't able to go) for their Grand Re-Opening. Their people must have worked all night, many nights. I was there Friday and not too much was different; no clue to the pending changes. I was also there Sunday and Voila! a whole new store! New floors, new layout, many new products, a larger Goya section, a brand new Flash Food section, new carts. I didn't use the restroom, but was told it is a gem. I will get back to this Tops in a day or two-- it's my local Tops-- and I will take photos. Sunday I was too stunned to think of it.

Service is always good, with thoughtful suggestions if I'm not certain exactly what I want. If they don't have what I want, no beating around the bush-a suggestion of who might have the item. Usually good atmosphere, reshuffling stock to scrub shelves and go after floors. Big store has regular area clean checks. Pharmacy up to date and helpful.

Tops has the business model of items on sale weekly, vs so-called everyday value pricing. That…read moremeans each week the displays change depending on what's on sale, plus they still use paper in-store coupons. The deli department is vast but seldom manned, and waiting for assistance can be time consuming. There are pre-sliced options if you don't mind the sizes available. Produce is hit or miss, and you need to watch the dates on bagged items such as carrots. There are a few products available only at Tops, such as a brand of bread I prefer, which is the only reason I enter the store. The Fairlife milk I prefer is one dollar less here, and Tops brand of Greek yogurt is quite good and much less than the brand name version. The store is clean, parking is fine. The worst part of the experience is the check-out. Self check-out is nearly the only available option and it is a study in patience. I've been so frustrated at the check-out, the scanning is painfully slow, it refuses to admit you indeed have scanned and then placed the item in the bagging area. Other stores do not SCOLD aloud for REMEMBER, ALWAYS SCAN YOUR ITEM BEFORE PLACING IN THE BAGGING AREA. I DID, I holler back, and I ain't no holla back girl. I do not recommend shopping at Tops. They need much better customer service, a check-out system that works efficiently (and is not "surprised" by a reusable bag in the bagging area"), and associates that actually help customers.

Horsefeathers market has been on my list to checkout for 2 years now but I hadn't been until today…read more I regret not checking this out sooner, they feature awesome vendors that I hadn't heard of until today, and many will have me coming back. Enter through the Normal St entrance. The ground floor has a restaurant, and there were two tables setup- one for Blue Table Chocolates with their amazing truffles (and yes they offer free samples!), and Green Heron Growers which has coolers of meat, some frozen soups to go, maple syrup, maple jerky, and more. There are two stairways and you can take either to get downstairs. I don't know if there's an elevator. Downstairs there's a few more vendors, but not as many as I had hoped, which is why I'm only giving them 4 stars. There was: - The Rogue Cellar (vegan international bake goods) - Dharna Kombucha - Overwinter coffee (pour over and beans) - a jewelry table - a soap table - Pastry by Camille (macaroons and donuts) Dharna kombucha was delicious and they offer samples too. I left with a bottle of the Rosemary Orange after trying it, so good! There were also samples out on the Rogue Cellar Table, and I left with a pop tart and their whiskey salted caramels- both amazing! Stopped by the Overwinter coffee table and it was neat watching them make my pour over coffee, and it tasted delicious too! Also got chocolates from Blue Table (upstairs) and shiitake-barley soup from Green Heron Growers (upstairs). Everything I got today will have me coming back for more! I highly recommend stopping by next Saturday and checking them out for yourself!

I was able to purchase a holiday gift for my husband and browse everything this market has to offer. They even had someone selling Knish! I'll be back!
