Adaj was able to provide a quote for labor and fabric/supplies which was very reasonable. He was able to begin in a couple of days and all was complete in 2 weeks. I was able to arrange it all by text, got my fabric, had it picked up, got notified of the invoice and paid it two weeks later - then crickets. I kept trying to contact the business for weeks with no response until I posted on their Facebook page and their former social media manager contacted me to say the owner had died! She was able to give me contact info for the family and the owner's daughter very kindly arranged delivery. Very sad. I appreciated that the family were so helpful during their time of loss.

Although we were only 2 days into February, and the ad ran in February, they would not honor the coupon. Charlotte Observer messed up, but I feel they should have honored for a potential customer who inquired on the day that the coupon ran and was only 2 days beyond their planned expiration date. One simple mistake caused thousands of dollars worth of damage. Valerie Arthurs, franchisee, left…read morethe compressor next to a $100k+ car. I sent multiple messages and called her number and it took six hours for her to reply, after letting her know I filed a police report. She usually keeps her compressor in her car, but on this day, the extension cord malfunctioned and caused smoking inside of her personal vehicle. She moved the air compressor that she was using to inject ink into the stitching on a Lexus LC 500. The tools she used to complete the job were placed too close to my vehicle which burned a hole through the custom vinyl wrap, through the clear coat and OEM paint, down to the bare metal on the passenger rock plate. After making contact with Valerie six hours later, she denied responsibility and refused to provide her business or personal insurance for the property damaged she caused. I have been forced to file a claim with my personal insurance to begin the repair work due to Valerie's negligence. I do not suggest doing business with her unless you enjoy unprofessional business behavior. Being that she's unable to provide business insurance information, I have zero confidence she has any type of coverage to help her in an instance like this. Read the reviews on this business on all channels. Facebook, Yelp, and her website. SHE WILL TRY TO MAKE YOU RESPONSIBLE FINANCIALLY FOR THE DAMAGE SHE DOES TO YOUR PROPERTY.

Okay well what about the future? Guess they didn't care for my business at any time. Customer service and honesty means a lot and this business is missing it. Editing review to add based off of business response: My rating is accurate as I received a negative experience with my back and forth communications with this business. Do they deserve a 1? No because I did not use them, so I can't attest to their work. But do they deserve a 5? No. Whether I chose to use them or not, my contact with them from start to finish is all part of my involvement with this business. They could have handled the situation differently. All other businesses that I have contacted at this time that have either said they are booked, can't do anything because of the COVID issues, or are just waiting on me to make a decision, have all responded with giving me rough estimates for the job and will give me firm estimates and help me when they can get me on the schedule. This was a very different experience with this business who is now "willing" to help. Hopefully they can use this feedback to learn how to positively respond to potential customers even if they are not in agreement.

The lady at the store was dismissive and treated us like folks who walked in by mistake. From the moment we walked in (no hello, no greeting, just a blank and cold stare) to her assuming right off the bat that we wanted premade drapes ("we don't sell premade drapes"), it was a case study in how to NOT treat customers. It took us having to literally prove to her with pictures of our windows that we were seriously in the market for drapes. She was not willing to share even basic information like the price range for different fabric options nor was she willing to even talk about the types of options available. Her tone, tenor and attitude clearly said "I don't care for you". It was only after we told her the color of our walls by sharing the Sherwin Williams color code / name did she realize we weren't turnips that fell off the back of a truck. Up until that point she was dismissive to say the least. Even assuming we were just browsing, imagine if she had presented the brand, the store and the offerings in a positive and vibrant manner. In today's digital first world, why would you ignore and insult customers who drive across town and walk into your store? It was very clear that we were not welcome and she made no attempt to even mask it. Her loss will be another store's gain! Stay away from this store unless you like to be treated like yesterday's bread. To the owners: I hope you recognize and respect that customers come in as many shades as your fabric display!

However, we had dining room chairs that were part of an antique set that were in the original fabrics and literally, had no foam. Midas Fabrics was lovely to work with and we now have beautiful and comfortable chairs to enjoy holiday meals on. We also had a beloved oversized chair and ottoman that we in need of love. We had searched for a replacement chair and just could not find one that we loved as much as the one we had. So off to Midas we went and once again, the project was an overwhelming success! We love the look and refresh of it and are so happy with the work. I am now looking around to see what else I might possibly need done!! LOL!!! Would recommend Midas Fabric to anyone!
