One member of the staff even offered to lend me a phone charger while there! When I was leaving she surprisingly said I could take it with me. Wow. It had been a while since I had been to the dentist, and this freebie made me want to try NDK over anywhere else. I definitely will be a permanent patient at NDK now given the great experience I had there. Don't be fooled by the exterior surroundings- You walk in and the beautiful decor, gourmet coffee and bottled water in the waiting room, and nice relaxing music all make you feel like you're going to the spa for some self-care. The staff at NDK also contribute to that feeling- they're super-friendly, knowledgeable, personable, and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable! The treatment room was pleasant to be in as well- relaxing music and pretty pictures to look at, including on an HD flat-screen. Later, I was able to see the super-high-tech digital x-rays of my own teeth up on the flat screen which was really cool. And Dr. Kim and Vanessa were great about explaining what I was seeing on the images and why they were recommending the treatments they did. The exam and cleaning was really gentle, quick, and expertly-done. And they made sure to check in along the way to make sure I was comfortable. I've only written one other Yelp review, and it should say something that I felt this strongly about how great NDK Dental is that I'm taking the time to write this! She's a fabulous and competent dentist who has a tremendous bedside manner (do dentists have to have that? who knows? she does). She's friendly and helpful and puts her patients at ease immediately. What the???…read more Seven thirty this morning, my fingers crossed- I did what I've been meaning to do for four years - change my dentist. Inertia is a weird thing. WHAT A FABULOUS EXPERIENCE! I've lived in 5 states and been to many dentists. I've kids, I've spent time in museum quiet, semi-circle-seating-type waiting rooms. Imagine my shock walking into a spacious sunlit room, chatter and laughing in the waiting room, in the office, just this hub-bub of happy people. (It gets better) I have the privilege of Dr. Chang taking me on extremely short notice. An amazingly gentle and knowledgable doctor who had me at ease from hello. His dental assistant Diane was excellent. I usually despise the 'down' time looking at a poster of a fuzzy animal on the ceiling tile. HAH, this office blew that away! My view? Large gorgeous skylight, tiny tree branch with an orange leaf, a hawk circling a thermal vent, a flock of extremely fast birds, and the drill whirled on! (seriously) Pleasant and personable is what comes to mind but it's not quite it. It's something More... the front office worked so hard to help me determine insurance coverage. Pulling out my car keys, I realized I was smiling. I looked up and caught the eye of a patient leaving, we both grinned and she beeped :-) Oh, my tooth, fixed. Simply wonderful. I have been to this office twice so far this year 2021. Previously I lived in California and had an…read moreexceptional dentist there who was an NYU graduate. So, I would like to preface this review with the fact that my standards have been elevated because of my previous care being outstanding. Dr. Vutech is also a truly exceptional dentist, every bit as good and possibly better than my previous dentist. The entire operation here is remarkably efficient and professional. I do not wait--at all. When the appointment time is set, the staff is ready at that time for me. This is unheard of in the business. My first appointment was a teeth cleaning that I needed badly as my teeth had not been cleaned in a couple of years and I knew something needed to be done soon. I called other offices and they wanted to book me months out. When I called Dr. Vutech a person answered the phone right away to my surprise. All the other offices I called had that recording where you wait until you hear the menu prompt that applies to your needs, which I do not like. Dr. Vutech's office got me in three weeks later, not three months. My hygienist took me in a few minutes early and was gentle yet absolutely thorough. My teeth had extra stains on them from coffee and tea and these were mostly all removed because of the extra time we had since I was taken in early. My x rays showed that my previous dental work was top notch and that my teeth were in good shape, but that some work needed to be done where there was wear between the tooth and the gum. Apparently Dr. Vutech could fill that wear space as a preventative measure to help my teeth to last. At sixty years old I want to keep my original teeth as long as possible, this saves money over time and prevents other issues from cropping up. Today I had the first of four appointments for preventive fillings (on the lower right) and they look great. Dr. Vutech matched the natural tooth color perfectly and it is nearly impossible to tell any work had been done, the teeth just look back to normal as if there was never any wear. My assistant was meticulous and diligent and most friendly and courteous. Dr. Vutech uses special magnifying lenses that he states emphatically improve his ability to see what "cannot be seen without them" thus amplifying his capabilities when he is in your mouth doing important work. I now know for a fact that I am in the hands of a truly amazing dentist. My procedure today was painless (novocaine) and efficient. I was in and out in about 40 minutes. Dr. Vutech and his entire staff are personable and friendly, they each spend time with you and go out of their way to make you realize that you are well taken care of. I could not ask for a better group of professionals. Thanks to Marilyn, Julie, Dawn and Dr. Vutech for the fantastic care and skill level that is superlative.

I did a variety of things including Invisalign and teeth whitening. I use him for my general checkups but the cosmetic work he did I am especially pleased with. He is in North Kingstown which is a plus for me.
