My husband has been seeing Dr. Kirk for years and recommended I see him as well. I'm so glad Dr. Kirk is my dentist! And I'll bet anything he is THRILLED to have me as a patient, because I always need to have a ton of dental work done (and no, I'm not proud of it, it's just a fact of my life; I am a senior-ish aged woman and still eat candy as if there is NO TOMORROW!). Over the years Dr. Kirk has given me crowns and bridges, replaced bonding and is now getting ready to set me up with two dental implants. (You can $ee why he mu$t be delighted to have me a$ a patient!) He is ALWAYS kind, friendly, congenial, a pleasure to speak with, even while stuck in the scary dental chair getting ready for the scary drill to go in my mouth. Between Dr. K, his assistant, Ann, and me, the room is always raucous with laughter and hysterical stories bandied back and forth. How many dentist offices can you say that about? (Oh, full disclosure - I always pop a Klonopin just before I get out of my car). He does wonderful work and always fits me in whenever I have a dental emergency, and as you can imagine, I have had a few toffee-related emergencies over the years). I think his prices are fair in comparison to other dentists, but I'm really not sure how much such services are supposed to cost, so can't swear to that. But he does excellent work! And he explains everything thoroughly, which I consider to be very important. His office is immaculate, he has a great staff, and it is a four minute drive, door to door, for me - a person for whom convenience is everything. So, I'm leaving five stars for Dr. Paul Kirk, DDS. I only have good things to say about this wonderful man.

She's a fabulous and competent dentist who has a tremendous bedside manner (do dentists have to have that? who knows? she does). She's friendly and helpful and puts her patients at ease immediately. The entire staff at McManus and Pratt are wonderful--organized, helpful, and friendly. They always run on time, are efficient, and call AND email to remind patients of appointments. Love love love. And when was the last time someone was this effusive about a dentist?

What the???…read more Seven thirty this morning, my fingers crossed- I did what I've been meaning to do for four years - change my dentist. Inertia is a weird thing. WHAT A FABULOUS EXPERIENCE! I've lived in 5 states and been to many dentists. I've kids, I've spent time in museum quiet, semi-circle-seating-type waiting rooms. Imagine my shock walking into a spacious sunlit room, chatter and laughing in the waiting room, in the office, just this hub-bub of happy people. (It gets better) I have the privilege of Dr. Chang taking me on extremely short notice. An amazingly gentle and knowledgable doctor who had me at ease from hello. His dental assistant Diane was excellent. I usually despise the 'down' time looking at a poster of a fuzzy animal on the ceiling tile. HAH, this office blew that away! My view? Large gorgeous skylight, tiny tree branch with an orange leaf, a hawk circling a thermal vent, a flock of extremely fast birds, and the drill whirled on! (seriously) Pleasant and personable is what comes to mind but it's not quite it. It's something More... the front office worked so hard to help me determine insurance coverage. Pulling out my car keys, I realized I was smiling. I looked up and caught the eye of a patient leaving, we both grinned and she beeped :-) Oh, my tooth, fixed. Simply wonderful. My brother also is a patient (he recommended Dr. Hagerty to me) and is equally impressed and satisfied with his treatment and "bedside manner." I've had many issues…read morewith my mouth since my mother In the 80s gave me sugar babies and rock candy on a daily basis unknowingly to the consequences. I am a baby with sensitive teeth. Dr. Javid is very gentle. When I first went to him back in the late 90s I had just lost my dental insurance and he worked with me. I since took my daughters and moved to Florida five years ago and still fly up for cleanings alone. I could write 15 paragraphs on my issues he fixed and very affordable for someone that was self employed, self insured. I've had bridges, Root canals and filings over the years from Dr. Javid and his staff is always great. My teeth look and feel great.
