Somebody had to make a fake/female account (which you deleted as soon as I posted this second review) to pretend to be a client and defend his disrespectful behaviors towards customers including me, so he wouldn't get fired. I feel sorry for his pathetic life, perhaps he should try to go to college to educate himself better instead of being a racist. Maybe, you ("Liz" or whatever your real name is) should review all the horrible reviews left by other people, and watch your attitude. :) -------------- If I could give 0 star, I would. The guy staff especially on the second floor is the rudest employee I've ever met. First of all, there is no one on the floor but they won't even say hello like they should be doing when they are getting paid to provide service to customers. instead, they are talking to each other about what they are having for dinner. I don't know if they are working or just chatting to get rid of customers. They are doing a great job, dismissing potential customers. Second, they would not even let you touch the clothes, saying they are "all hung up on the racks" and will mumble behind your back if you do touch them. They will also "reorganize" the hanger loudly and violently as soon as you touch it. How rude is this? And the mumbling will not stop until you go down to the first floor. I would have bought something from there if there weren't those rude staff, ignorig and telling you that you shouldn't touch the clothes...hm... I wonder how they are going to sell them if I can't touch them. The mumbling also will continue as you go down the stairs. When i turned around and said excuse me, he gave me that innocent look and said excuse me back to me,acting like he wasn't mumbling. Haha Very annoying and disrespectful. I know people who go there would continue to visit, but if you are the owner and reading this, they, especially that guy with thick glasses should get fired if the store wants to make more revenue. Read through the reviews yourself. The employees ARE rude. I live in New York City and even the employees there know better that being rude is not going to get them anywhere. Do yourself a favor and just go to Barney's. read more

I've been to Riccardi three times and every time I went it was bad. Once you walk in there's like 4 workers just standing around to watch you. I went today wearing a t-shirt and shorts and sandals and was harassed by the workers. One employee followed me around the store (very obviously, too). Then, I found a sweater that I wanted to see (it was folded on the shelf), and one employee grabbed it away from my hands and put it back. He told me the same shirt is hanging on the hangers beneath it. But just the way he did it was very rude, he told me not to touch the sweaters and put it back. I've been to some high end stores before (Bergdorf Goodman, Barneys, Saks, etc) but I've never had such bad service. Horrible place. Hate the people and the environment. Go there if you're in some Maison Margiela sneakers and Givenchy sweaters if you want good service. Never going there again. read more

I guess this place carries high-end clothes but that's about it... I've travelled to too many places, too many times to know which store has trendier and nicer clothes and this place isn't one of them. Felt like it's just a compilation of high-end labels. 2 reasons I don't recommend this place 1. rude and condescending employees; who are you again? 2. more expensive for the same product; I noticed some of the clothes are marked up way higher than other places that carry exactly the same things. Thank god I bought the same top with a cheaper price tag a week before I stumbled into this small store in boston. I never write reviews (this is my first review and probably last) but this store just made me do this. I recently went here to buy my son some clothing for his birthday. Once I walked in the staff was dispersed and seemed disinterested in helping me. They also followed me around while I was browsing. Very hostile workers and I felt very uncomfortable being in that store. One worker even told me not to touch anything. This is just a high end clothing store. Not a high end car dealership or anything special. Never going here again. read more

Horrible selection of items and nothing is prived under 1K I personally love designer shopping but the selections on newbury are just awful since the removal of Aigo which I thought was pretty decent. I shop at Riccardi and its sister store Relic often. Both Riccardi and his son( who runs Relic) are very knowledgable about the current trends in clothing. Both store are extremely pricey bit if you want to look trendy it is a must. They sell Crome Hearts Jewelry, which is my favorite and well as all the new clothes from D&G and Lamb. VERY RUDE STAFF Once I walked into the place, there was one employee just stalking me while I looked at clothes. Then, as I was walking throughout the store, I picked up a sweater that was on a shelf to check it out, but a worker took it out of my hands and put it back on the shelf and told me not to touch it. When money is not an issue and when you cannot stand looking less than perfect in your jeans then this is the place for you.
