It is illegal for businesses to dispose of electronic waste or (e-waste) in their regular trash or dumpsters as these items contain toxins such as lead, mercury and cadmium and must be handled properly. Rates (per their website): Businesses are charged 20 cents per pound for TVs, monitors and laptops. All other e-waste is free of charge. Unusual items will be assessed on a per item basis. (Rates, subject to change.) Download a list of acceptable material. Homeowners can also use the facility to purge their e-waste properly and some towns in Scott County have grant programs so it's free. You should call to get the details. if I were you I would stay far away from this one and his Grant G based out of Davenport in…read moreHillsdale Illinois they're all selling cars together and they're having their buddy Mike Keith sell them I got ripped off for $1,200 another dude on Facebook just said he got ripped off for four to six thousand dollars however much he paid for a vehicle from them they get junk vehicles and then they go on Snapchat and share pictures of them to sell them to all these people they meet including girls on dating sites the DMV almost gave me a ticket for buying a vehicle from them which was basically sold to me illegally and I didn't know that I was obtaining a vehicle that was not titled in any of their names or the supposed business name so they're dodging the IRS to make more money by selling the vehicles without registering them first which is another thing that's illegal they're being watched by the Springfield investigators for Illinois for the Department of Motor Vehicles and they already contacted the Illinois IRS Internal Revenue Service I wouldn't even bother selling them vehicles anymore especially ones that don't have a title at your vehicle can literally end up in anybody's hands and with the amount of drinking and driving they do I really wouldn't suggest putting yourself or your credit or your freedom and someone else's hands because it's a bunch of young kids that are running these businesses and they're not even doing it properly like tax evasion at its finest I got text messages with them admitting some of these guys admitting that Red's Recycling and the grants recycling automotive services use Mike to flip all these cars to rip people off and what makes me mad the most is somebody else that's also a cancer patient just got ripped off like I did I mean they go to the same cancer facility I do so to know that two cancer patients got ripped off because these guys are acting like they're mechanics and they're really not and you're not checking out these vehicles or having people that are mechanics look at these vehicles before you sell them to other people it's one thing to get a car and tear it apart and scrap it that's cool you want to do that that's fine but don't be getting cars for cheap or free or trading them for things and then selling them to people when they're not Road safe vehicles and you're not even being honest and telling people what's actually wrong with them they think they're getting a car that's going to get them from point A to point B before it overheats there's a sound in the motor the tires blow out the axles break on the car or they just won't start you jump start a vehicle to get it to someone's driveway and after you leave you get told no we can give you scrap price but we're not going to give you the $1,200 to 6 grand that you just gave us in less than 24 hours and the DMV guy said that's illegal if they know which obviously pos people

I call APPLIANCE RESCUE. The receptionist asked for the model number of the refrigerator, then said they would call me back later. She called back in 20 minutes and said he would come to take a look at the unit within the next 2 hours. He came in 1 1/2 hours, tried restarting the refrigerator but it only ran for a few minutes; he had checked on electronic board availability and they are no longer stocked by the company. . He measured my refrigerator, gave me a suggestion when I asked, where to go to buy a new one. I thought he was highly responsive, polite, helpful even if he could not repair the unit.
