Before we got married, we referred him to another couple who went with him -- that referral was based just on the meeting we had with Brian, which went very well! We have now attended other weddings since ours, and it has underscored JUST how talented Brian is! His songs transition from one to the next, seamlessly ... and he knows how to increase and then decrease the rhythms for maximum dancing and listening pleasure. We saw other DJ's klutz their ways through the evenings, and it made us realize how skilled Brian is. He is personable, very eager to please and make sure you have just what you want & need for your event, and is reasonably priced and extremely accommodating. Overall, Brian is just great -- a really great guy -- and you will be VERY pleased you selected him!

From our initial meeting at a Starbucks, Brian set very high standards for himself. Did we mention that our first meeting ended up going for two hours? It was amazing how comfortable we felt around him right off the bat. He was an incredibly laid back and fun person to talk to, and we just lost track of time. For my wife and I, it seemed like we were talking to someone we had known for years, not a DJ we just met. After that meeting, we were pretty much set. We had met with one DJ before, and had talked to a couple others on the phone, and no one even came close to how comfortable we felt with him. We had made our decision before we had even gotten back to our car. Later when we informed him he had won the job, he literally had a child-like glee and excitement that he'd get to help make our reception something special. When we had our music meeting, we were once again impressed with Brian. Again, it turned into a two hour meeting, which is hard to call a meeting considering how much fun we had with him (including his falling in love with a certain comfortable chair at our apartment). He was a very detail oriented person, wanting to make sure he got everything right; people's names and pronunciations, how each of our parents should be introduced and whether they were married or not, among many other things. He even brought up a few things that we had completely neglected to think about, and certainly saved our butts from some last minute panic. He was also very thorough about the music for the evening, obviously like you would hope for a DJ! He was very particular about trying to understand our musical tastes, which for my wife and I, were very different. I'm very much a country boy at heart, she is pretty much all music except country. His depth of knowledge of music was incredible, and whenever we needed suggestions for a song to use during a part of our reception, he always managed to pick out a few samples that hit just right and made it incredibly hard to pick just one! Again, he set some incredibly high standards for himself. When we got to the big day, Brian managed to outdo the standards he had set for himself. At the end of the night I literally didn't have the words to thank him. I had gotten so many compliments during our reception about how great the music was, and how much everyone loved the game we had played right before the dinner began (which was completely Brian's suggestion!) He made the night. He was very organized and kept the event going in the right direction the entire night. He honestly knew more about the schedule for the reception than I did! I honestly don't know if I could ever run out of good things to say about Brian Wright. I sincerely hope a few of our friends who are getting married soon pick him as their DJ so I can see him again. I cannot thank him enough for how memorable of an evening he made my wedding day. I want to have more parties just so I can hire him! How much do I believe in Brian Wright? At our reception, I picked up a stack of his business cards. I carry them in my wallet so that whenever anyone, anywhere, mentions that they need a DJ, I don't even have to think about looking up his information to give them, I can just hand them his card and tell them: "Just use this DJ. Don't think twice, don't ask questions. He will be better than you can even dream of."

These two were awesome together and made this wedding couple and our wedding party all comfortable and pumped for the celebration. They did a great job assisting with the ceremony and got the party started for the reception. Cassie and Neffee were very flexible with last minute changes and used our music choices to cater to our preferences to create a great soundtrack to our special day. I felt like it was a success and there were many sore feet the next day. I would definitely recommend showcase sound. It was great working with Lisa, Cassie and Neffee. They are very organized and care about their clients.

We picked this dj company for our wedding this past July after much research and seeing them at…read morebridal shows. They had an awesome "Black Friday deal" which helped us decide. The package was for 5 hours dj, photo booth and uplighting. they do also have other separate decor options but we didn't decide on those. They were very accommodating and provided us a website to use so we could pick out some songs for them to get an idea of what we wanted. we picked our songs and put them into categories from must play to never play. the photo booth we picked was their newest ones and it looked awesome, however the owner didn't realize mid way through the year that she promised it to someone else. I was devastated, but she gave us the next best one and accommodated us by giving a full room of uplighting for free instead of the original half room. We also were able to still have the backdrop we picked. At some point in the year you go to a special event at harro east to pick the dj/mc you want... this was actually very hard for me because I'm not good at a judge of character from a short convo or making small talk. I feel uncomfortable doing that most of the time, but what is a better way to pick the dj you want? i think most dj companies don't do this? We met all the dj's that were available for our night and actually chose the guy we didn't think we originally wanted. the reason why we went with him was because he was most like us in taste of music and style. the only problem we actually had was his personality didn't exactly mesh with what we wanted.... so make sure you go with someone who will present themselves as how you want the night to go! closer to the date we sat down with one of the owners and did a play by play of how we wanted the night to go and picked our first dance songs. we also chose the color for our uplighting and finalized most of the night. overall I thought they did a good job, the sound quality of the music is good, the lightening they provide is good, and the process is professional.

We gave him a crazy list of 11 pages worth of songs to pick and play from, but my husband, myself and Jim knew that all couldn't be played. So Jim decided during dinner to play some of our songs that we had on our list! Jim did such an outstanding job for our ceremony music, introductions and reception! Everything went really well! Jim did a great job at feeling out the vibe of everyone and played what songs some people requested and what he felt like were going to vibe well. My husband and I felt that Jim did a great job and he went above and beyond our expectations. Funny thing is Go Sound System did my Dad's and Stepmom's wedding back in 2005! I am so glad I went with go sound! It didn't sound like a night club and each song was played through!! I've been to too many weddings where it sounds like a night club or the music doesn't vibe right! You will not be unhappy! Plus go sound is super affordable and reliable!

We were hosting a celebration of my father's life and my niece called Nolan's two weeks prior to…read morethe event for information. At that time she was told she could call up until the day before the event to secure a tent. She called 2 days before and was told by the first person she spoke with she should have called two weeks earlier to secure a tent. This person told her that they only had smaller tents available and the tables and chairs we needed. 10 minutes later we called back to secure everything and were told their system was not updated and we could get the tent but not the tables. After another 3 calls and speaking with different people every time, it turned out they could only provide the chairs if we picked them up. We ordered from Hank Parker and were very happy with the results.

We rented a cotton candy machine and bean bag toss for our kids' birthday party. Machine came with instructions and was easy to put together and then take apart to clean. Easy enough. Communication - initially it was fine. Michele got back to me in a timely manner and was pleasant. Online at least. When I went in to pay i spoke with Deb. Less than personable. Additionally, the young lady who sits to the right nearest the door was a bit obnoxious to my husband and our neighbor who went with him for pick up. Now. Here's where it gets crazy. Upon my first visit in to pay, I was asked by Deb for my 'NY ID'. Let me explain. We are a military family. While we own a home here in Webster, for the time being, we maintain our home of record in Texas, meaning our driver licenses and car tags and taxes alllllll remain Texas based. Hey, here's something for you to remember Nolans..most military families do the same and do NOT change licenses with each PCS (that's a military orders move). That's a federal option we are allowed, and oh yea, covered by several acts and policies put in place just for military families. I explained such to Deb and was told oh that's too bad that is our policy soooooo maybe bring a friend or neighbor who has a NY license? Ok, one, no, not cool. I'm pretty sure legally you can't ask that. Two, my husband and myself have not only our Texas driver licenses, but ALSO FEDERAL military issued id's!!!! But of course this was not good enough and nobody in the front office would produce anything written to show this, NOR would they allow my husband to speak to the owner, this ' Bernee' guy. He was told to call him if he wanted, and was even hassled about that by the young ladies up front. Some eye rolls were also thrown about and some attitude was given towards my husband and our neighbor. That all is very inappropriate and not good customer service. Also........!!!!!!! Nowhere on the website OR quote OR contract is it stated ANYWHERE that the only for of id allowed is a NY state one. Nowhere, Nolans....are you following this?? So you're not only rude but you have an UNWRITTEN bs 'policy'. Folks, bottom line... Nolan's is very military unfriendly. Don't worry, we'll make sure to pass he word along to not only the fellow families who live work and spend money when we move here to Webster. But I have no problem passing along how incredibly crappy you are in your treatment of military members and families to the battalion planners and those who might seek out your services for large functions. They brought their own setup, extension cords, table, etc so all I had to do was point them in the direction of an outlet.
