Over an 80-year span I've seen several dental practice. Dr. Garcia's is stands head and shoulder above the rest. Dr Garcia was the first to display a patient-first-attitude starting at the initial visit providing a proposed schedule of care which included a cost breakdown by procedure. He followed up with an after-hours procedure to deal with an infected tooth. Dental hygienist, Julie takes an active role in my dental care. She gives continuous feedback during the cleaning, commenting on the condition of teeth and gums and things I might do to improve my self-care. The love of her job is obvious. While knowledge of her craft is considerable, she confers with the doctor on situations needing more expert care. I have been seeing Dr. Garcia for over 20 years now. He is incredibly knowledgeable, skilled, compassionate and talented. A perfectionist who makes sure that when I leave the office I have no issues with whatever procedure was done. I have had dental issues since I was a child, so have to visit the dentist somewhat frequently. I am admittedly a huge chicken at the dentist due to past experiences in my life. I'm a seasonal resident and cracked a tooth two days before heading back north. I called Dr. Garcia's office and they could not have been nicer. They squeezed me in knowing that I would be traveling. From the time I walked in the door to my examination, my experience was fabulous. I will be moving down to Naples full time next year and I know I found my new dentist. Dr. Garcia took the time to explain what was needed and knowing I was going home he suggested I wait to see my dentist to have the work done since it would take longer than one visit. Dr Garcia replaced an old crown that didn't fit properly. The original tooth was decaying under the old crown. In one day he ground off the old crown, cleaned up what was left of the old tooth root and installed a new crown that is a perfect fit. He originally said that I would need to come back to install the new crown but when I explained that I had other medical commitments, he got me all done in two visits on the same day.
