Pure con artist. Refuse to answer tickets then when you call them out on it they will just fire you as a client. I saw Mr.West one time for 15 minutes during my entire bankruptcy after that he done have 2 seconds to spend on you. You're just a number here and a another pay check. Our bankrupcy was dismissed months before completion because the trustee asked us for taxes he is not entitles to during a chap 13 to have which was child tax credits. We were told we would have to re-file but we did not and not one company came after us. The joke is on you! read more

Family member who moved OVER 1+ yrs ago received duplicate "notices" from this attorney regarding a creditor lawsuit that was dismissed in May 2021. I wouldn't hire someone that cannot do basic research BEFORE sending what appears to be official, up-to-date case information! read more

This attorney is overpriced and takes way too long to file cases. You can get better and faster service for HALF the price just about anywhere else in the Dayton area. Money is his only concern and judging from the unhappiness of a lot of his staff, he's the only person at this firm that makes any. Be very careful about choosing this person to represent you, while the job may get done correctly, it definitely will cost you double. ($2200 at least is what I was quoted for a simple case ) After speaking to friends, also customers of his, I am appalled at how long it took to get their cases filed. read more

Mr. West was recommended from a friend that was the worst recommendation I have ever had. Mr. West met with my husband and I once and for the last 3 years I have not seen him once. One of our propeties was put in the bankruptcy that was not supposed to be in the bankruptcy and when Mr. West was made aware of the mistake he told us not to worry about it. Our mortgage company stated that Mr. West indeed put the property in the bankruptcy even though he stated numerous time it was not now we are fighting with the mortgage company because they said being that it was in the bankruptcy we now have to redo a motification because it took us out of the interest rate we were in. We have only talked to paralegals even though we have requested to speak or meet with Mr. West numerous times. To even recieve a call back you have to email the paralegal then she will call you back. We had a different paralegal every time we called.The bankruptcy is now done and the property that was supposed to be clear of debt may not be after all. We went to pay the taxes and the city stated that another lender claims they have the deed. Of course we called the office only to be told to email the officeand someone would get back with my husband. We paid for a bankruptcy to clear up credit and now we have more creditors calling than when the bankruptcy was filed. I would not recommend Mr.West at all and if you choose to use him once he takes your money you will not see or speak to him again. This office is ran by paralegals which would have been fine if Mr.West had informed us of this when we initially met with him and he stated he is interactive with clients which was not true at all. read more

The firm was very efficient, but after all was done I had a lot of questions. Many of my questions were answered, but I still have questions. All I wanted to do was to walk away from a house that had become a money pit. When I went to see Mr. West I was up to date on all of my bills, but had spent so much money trying to keep a house together that was poorly built from the get go. I had a bad roofer, and because I didn't have the money to hire a good one I had to walk. My understanding was that when I filed bankruptcy that the bank would reclaim the house and I would be finished with it. Well that didn't turn out to be true, and I'm still stuck with it. I should have asked more questions, but unless you are familiar with walking away from property, you really don't know what questions to ask. With the worries of my new living conditions and the worries about the house my hair has started to fall out at a rate I wouldn't have believed a year ago. I'm not sorry I filed bankruptcy, but I am sorry I didn't research deeper into what I was getting myself into. read more
