Wish I could do zero stars . A narcissist who takes zero responsibility. Three years of complications from his surgery on me- most likely due to an infection from his surgical center . Refused to treat me a Hackensack hospital ( likely because he didn't want them to see how botched I was) Had 7 follow up ( I think) surgeries by him ( oh .... In his surgical center $$$$$$$) Needed a skin graft and reconstructive surgery . When I asked for my records he instructed the staff not to talk to me . He had also let him know that he could write anything he wanted in the records ( as they were not time stamped on the computer - thus he could rewrite them ) The surgeon who completely reconstructed me said many of his patients were from Dr winters . The Vanguard where he did surgeries was an absolute dungeon and dangerous. He left my father in terrible shape after 5 surgeries with scarring and opened wounds. read more

I do not recommend, he failed to achieve satisfactory results twice. The second time he put filler in my nose without me understanding what he was doing causing a SEVERE allergic reaction on the spot. He just left the room after leaving me with a bloody napkin saying he has never seen so much bleeding. No medication in case of possible infection, which I did then have a few months later, and no nurse to come in a look at the reaction. I will post pictures once I've blacked them out. It has been a horrific experience. I will say he did have to work on an already botched nose. However ensure he listens to what your expectations and requests are. My experience with Dr. Richard Winters has been a nightmare. I had surgery with him in April 2018. Since the first day, I have had complications that include swelling, infections, excruciating pain, and cervical spine problems. I talked to him extensively about the pain and symptoms on the many post surgery visits. According to him it was all part of the recovery process and it would get better with time. He went as far as to say, in front of my husband, that I didn't know the meaning of pain. Obviously, the situation didn't get better, it has been getting worse. I finally consulted with other physicians and had the MRI done. The findings show problems with the cervical spine that correlate with the symptoms that Dr. Winters neglected to acknowledge. read more
