Initially, I hired them to do some simple things like putting in a new toilet, putting up some window coverings and some small lighting fixtures. The work was straightforward, but it was done in a timely and effective manner. And the price was right as well. I decided to get them to do an overhaul of my front porch... and what a good decision it was. The work was excellent and I received several compliments from my neighbours. I even had a woman knock on my door and ask who did the work! Not sure if she followed up in getting them to do future work for her. Since then, I've had them put in some flooring, (in addition to a number of smaller jobs) and I've been very pleased. I'm glad I found them and will get them to do future work in my house.

While the price was right, you get what you pay for. We had a small section of hardwood installed…read more That was ok but the trim and 1/4 round were left a mess. Nails weren't filled in. Trim was left dirty and marked up. Caulking between trim and 1/4 round sloppy. Powder room pedestal sink removed and vanity installed. There was a space left between the old sink and new one and he had no intention of fixing it. Also, he had to remove the medicine cabinet and hang it higher. Dropped it and gouged the wood trim that goes around the middle of the wall. Claimed he didn't see it. It was pretty big. Left 2 little piles of sawdust behind the vanity from where he had to cut the trim. His caulking of the vanity and the wall was also sloppy. And he put caulking between the fake drawer and top of vanity where there was none before. It was an absolute mess! It took me hours to remove it. Even though he offered to return and fix them, I declined and fixed them all myself. His site claims he's licensed, but when I asked about plumbing, he told me he's not a licensed plumber. So, ask questions and make sure you know what he's capable of. Oh, forgot to mention the glue that was left in the main bathroom sink after the installation of the new fixture. More caulking in the bathroom, where the trim meets the toe kick. Looks horrendous. I mean, he's addicted to caulk.

Rob was the only one to respond positively to my request. Several businesses did not respond and another said my job was too small. Rob answered in a timely manner, requested more information and several photos to evaluate the job. He came up with a plan and costs that fit my budget. Set a date for work and he was on time and ready to work. Also had a few smaller jobs he was able to do for me at the same time. Very pleased with his work ethic along with what I felt was a fair cost for labour and parts supplied. I will be calling him again when I need future work. Definitely a person to contact for your projects.
