Walking around outside was a delight. The theater sits along a lovely. Creek in such beautiful nature. The building was originally a gristmill built in 1840 & it became a theater in 1923. A gentleman took me to upstairs to show me a space with wonderful room showing off some of Hedgerow's green room displaying old photos of theater and it's actors during performances , piano , wooden furniture designed by Wharton Esherick, a beloved and accomplished American craftsman and a one-time set designer for Hedgerow!! He is very special to this area and if you Google him, you'll see how special is to American Folk art. I am honored to see one of my very very favorite theaters and favorite plays SHIRLEY VALENTINE! 2pm show ! It was absolutely such a good time and wonderful performance ! This theater has some amazing actors and great staff! A delightful comedy and 'feel good' play ! One woman show! I really had a wonderful time here. And I can't stop talking about it with friends !!

The owner is nice, but absent. The ballet instructor cares more about The Nutcracker than teaching. The jazz and modern teacher states who her favorites are in front of the class. The tap teacher chews gum while dancing (another safety hazard). Imagine trying to get a 3 year old ready for dance and they refuse to wear a leotard and tights because their teacher wears sweats and teaches tap in mismatched socks (only socks, not tap shoes). This is who your kids are looking up to. Irresponsible instructors. With irresponsible instructors comes bullying and cliques. Teenagers should not be "hanging out" with their dance teachers outside of anything dance related. They may win multiple awards at the same competition every year, but that is only because they compete at the lowest level and bring the most dances. Competitions want you to continue to come back so they award you for the money you give them. Do you want your child going to a place where the teachers don't teach? Do you want your child to take ballet and then sit in the corner while they rehearse Nutcracker and competition dances during class (something that is part of Parkside Performing Arts Company, not the studio itself)? Do you want a teacher that plays favorites and bullies students, yet is the designated peer mediator if there is a problem? Do you want your child on pointe, but not get the proper training? There are plenty of other studios in the area.

Even the back is good (although the front is best). -It was an extremely easy GA experience. I've spent many hours waiting for GA shows in my lifetime, but that wasn't the case. -Drinks were dirt cheap in comparison to other casinos and venues. The vodka club was made with Sky and Absolute (depending on the flavor) and were only $6 a pop. -The sound quality was clear, even from the front row. The band complained it was loud, but I thought it was good. The bad: -The bathroom was located in the casino and a hike. That's unfortunate with drink prices being so low. -The smell. Sometimes it smelled like garbage. Sometimes it smelled like bacon. Sometimes it smelled like incense. It was gross and distracting. All and all, I'd return for the right act.

I think it holds under 1,000. Sound quality is definitely good. The staff throughout the casino was very friendly also! I would go back.. and this is coming from a Fillmore Philly regular. (I'm picky about my venues.) I would give a 4.5 if I could.. not going for the 5 star mainly Bc I wasn't feeling the beer selection.
