I have been blessed to have only been to a few funerals in my life but this was the first person that I really knew and had family ties to. I was actually really impressed with this Funeral home and the professional appearance of the family that ran it. I am pretty sure they knew my Grandparents and went to church with them. I am guessing that the building was a converted house from a long time ago as it felt more like a home than a business and you were there for an event rather than something sad. Everyone was very courteous and helpful even as we carted around our 3 kids. I in my own way have a great respect for this business and what they are able to do. It's funny that a place like this with its finality and ending would make you realize more clearly that life is so short and a beautiful precious gift, don't waste it, make it count.

It's almost like the review written by Gus was written by me. Wrong info on death certificate. Obituary not posted until after service. Cremation delayed-rescheduled service due to this. Cheap urn-has to buy one on Amazon that was nicer than theirs at half their price, communication sucked! And so on and so on. It was a hard stressful lesson I learned a little too late. Some may praise but for me it was all a nightmare that I'm glad is over!
