It is a consignment antique store where different sellers have booths or areas within the store where they can sell their own items. It smells just like an antique store, kind of musty and old. I really love that smell. They also had a room with furniture set up that was very nice. My favorite part was probably all of the antiques that they had outside. We have a farm and I am always looking for something to put out in the field or to decorate the farm with and this was really the place to go. Although I didn't see anything that we could use because I am kind of fussy about what I buy and I was specifically looking for horse related items, they had a nice selection. The Sturbridge Flea Market is one shop in the larger Sturbridge Marketplace At the Falls building…read more It's on the higher floor, close to the road, so the higher you can park the closer you are (valuable advice when the sun is beating down in the summer). The store seems to be built with the wares of different vendors, but one central register to pay. They are split floors within the shop - a lower level with more modern collectibles, a higher level with clothing, and a main level with larger items. It's one of those places you have no idea what you're going to find and what treasure you'll walk out with.

I ordered some chair pads for my kitchen table through the owners. They used a local company, Rhody Rugs, to stock some of their products. I love that local supports local here! The products are reasonably priced! The owners take a holiday during the month of July (Probably to make room for more cool things they will find on holiday!) and when I went there recently, they had a 20% off sale on the entire store! The owners are also very, very kind. They took the time to talk to me to get to know me. I went back to the store to pick up my chair pads and I did not expect them to remember me, but they did! It's so rare and lucky to find a business that cares about customers like this. This is a store I will be going to frequently, as the merchandise will change and turnover and the owners are awesome!
