I had switched to a new fish stand in the process. They went above and beyond to make sure my aquarium was level before refilling the aquarium. After contacting Elmer's Aquarium, in Monroeville, PA, to inquire on recommendations for in-home aquarium service, I was directed to JohnR, owner of Aquarist Company. Meeting John was truly my good fortune. John is so knowledgeable in aquarium operation. He immediately assured me that I had, indeed, been given all the correct components to begin using the (foreign to me!) sump pump filtration system with my aquarium. As he worked on my installation & tank set up, John kindly, very respectively, patiently & certainly, most professionally, explained his installation process, as well as the function of the filter, to me. As I write this review, we are in the process of waiting for my newly set up tank to undergo the nitrogen cycle before relocating my existing fish into their beautifully landscaped new home. The store was lovely and had a wide selection of toys, treats, and food. The prices were quite reasonable and you could tell that the owner/clerk was passionate about what he does.
