Our dogs absolutely love him, and they love having a clean yard. We have been using them about a year after being overcharged and completely unsatisfied with another company. Highly recommend the services Poo-Poo Pros provide!

If you've ever wondered what type of service business you can own when you can't stand interacting…read morewith people, have no empathy, and professionalism isn't your thing, look no further. I had this service for about a year. The good things about it were: 1st star- the price and 2nd star - they did a satisfactory job removing the poop from my yard when it wasn't snowing, raining or other things like their only employee quitting. The owner, Lyle, seems like he's probably a decent guy but he really should hire someone else to handle customer service. Communication is poor - crickets from him during the pandemic to let customers know how service would be affected; if they didn't show up for some reason on the scheduled day, they couldn't be bothered to proactively inform you (although Lyle was responsive to customer initiated emails); you're still billed when they don't come. I don't expect warm hugs and daily greetings but it's not too much to ask for timely, professional communication. And maybe a word of condolence when a customer loses a pet.

This is a rather long three part review. Part one is as follows…read more PART 1 So two of my recent service dates (December 20th and January 3rd) were cancelled (via email) due to a "snow day" and me also being informed that the companies "snow policy/snow fee" is in effect. The email went on to further state the following.... "We will be out on your next scheduled service and a snow fee will be added for the extra week of waste. For those not familiar with the snow fee, it is less than the weekly rate and to compensate the technician for the extra week of waste and time to service you. If you are going to clean up between now and and next weeks visit, just let us know and we will remove the fee. Let us know if you have any questions at all and thank you for your patience." This was my rebuttal to the first email. (which as of me writing this review has still not been given a reply.) Sent on December 24, 2024 "So I'm really confused as to why there was no pickup done this past Friday? There was barely any snowfall this past Friday. There have been pickups over the past month where there was significantly more snowfall/snow on the ground and pickup was still completed. At any rate, I had my yard cleaned up this morning. However I do have a problem with your verbal email portrayal of Poop 911's " snow policy/snow day/snow fee" vs what's readily available online via Poop 911's website. This is actually the first time I've ever heard of a "snow policy/snow day/snow fee." Prior to responding to this email, I did my due diligence by researching this " snow policy/snow day/snow fee" via your website and this is what my research yielded via three different sources. (Referenced below.) 1.) https://www.poop911.com/2019/07/01/poop-911-weather-policy/ 2.) https://www.poop911.com/2019/11/20/its-snowin-and-your-dog-keeps-goin/ 3.) https://www.poop911.com/terms-and-conditions/ The main takeaways I gathered that related to your aforementioned " snow policy/snow day/snow fee" email were as follows. Cold weather is never a concern unless an emergency is declared and meteorologists say it's just unsafe to be outside. (There was no emergency declared this past Friday and meteorologists did not deem it unsafe to be outside that day.) Do you pick up dog poop in the snow? Absolutely. Our service to you is essential, so we will come out and clean up your dog's poop regardless of snow on the ground. So with that being said I don't see how myself and current customers should be assessed a "snow fee" based on your own existing policies online that contradict what you're stating in your previous email. There is not one mention of this aforementioned "snow fee", let alone an actual monetary amount listed anywhere on the Poop 911 website. I don't think that's a good business practice attempting to drop an unknown/undisclosed surprise fee on customers whenever your policies on the Poop 911 website state pickups occur regardless of snow on the ground. I highly suggest you publicly update your "snow policy/snow day/snow fee" via your website. As current and potential customers deserve full transparency about any/all policies." Really shady of a company that publicly advertises they provide service "regardless of snow on the ground", but then once you're an established customer fabricate some "snow policy/snow day/snow fee" (which is only made privy to an established customer via email) just to steal more money from the customer. I just copied and pasted my original reply to this 2nd email they sent me regarding my service not occurring yesterday (January 3rd) and will updated my review if I get a response. PART 2 After receiving "service" on December 27, 2024 I wanted to do a check on how well the service was. Mainly because my Ring camera recorded the technician speed running my entire back yard in under a few minutes. The walk through resulted in me finding multiple (in plain sight) piles of poop left untouched. Here's a link to both my Ring camera recordings of said service and my walk through. https://photos.app.goo.gl/R4ri1zrtm6PLPBYo7 Sent an email early afternoon on the 27th about the unsatisfactory service and surprisingly got an email reply from Alaina that evening stating the following. "I apologize for the oversight of the technician. We sent a substitute today. I will be speaking to him. I have issued a refund for today's service as we guarantee services. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention so we may address and resolve the issue quickly." I mean this with all do respect, but the job isn't rocket science. The whole point of your service is to pick up poop. Regardless if a technical is a substitute, he/she quiet literally has three steps in order to do the job. Step 1: Scan the customers yard (slowly) to identify poop. Step 2: Scoop the poop. Step 3: Dispose of poop bag via customers trash can. UPDATE FROM PART 1! See attached photos. Will post updates via photos due to reaching review text limits.

BEWARE: THESE PEOPLE CLAIM TO PROVIDE RELIABLE CLEANING YEAR ROUND WHEN IN TRUTH THEY HAVE NO PLAN…read moreWHEN IT COMES TO SNOW. I also will note ahead of time also that while their website claims they pick up both dog and cat poop, I had several occasions where obvious piles of cat poop were left in the yard while the dog poop was picked. We employed this service since last summer and initially did not have problems. Starting in January when snow started to fall, as it does every year in Ohio, we started to get nervous about the quality of the cleaning. I came home one Wednesday, our service day was always Wednesday, to find that the yard had been serviced however one large pile that looked as if it had been stepped in and smeared in the snow was left. Upon further inspection it was apparent that other poops had been left under a fresh snowfall that had occurred earlier that Wednesday morning. We contacted PoopPros to inquire what the plan was to clean during snowfalls because when we first inquired about the service in winter, we were told with pride that PoopPros have even "chiselled poop out of ice!", so it was disappointing to see that we had literally been charged for them to come out and pick up only visible poop, which was from that very morning, deposited in the yard between the early morning snowfall and their tech's arrival. We wanted to cancel the service because the whole point is not to have poop rotting, wet, on the grass, under snow. The next week, we specifically reached out prior to service and told the tech that there were many poops in the yard both from the previous week as well as what had been left over the next week. We got no response. The servicing was done, collecting again only visible poops. At this point, we have basically two weeks worth of poops in and under snow in our yard even though we PAY a service for the expectation that THEY gave that our yard would be clean year round. Now come to Wednesday before last, there was a polar vortex with extreme temperatures. We received a text saying they would not be out to service for the week. Understandable. What was not understandable is that they did not warn that they would not be coming this past Wednesday to make up for that missed week. PoopPros claim that because we cancelled service after January and that Wednesday was the last Wednesday of that month, that they are not coming out and we would get a check for that cancelled service. They feel no obligation to clean all of the poops left in the yard, of which there are at least 30-40, I have pictures. These are all poops left in the yard throughout the month of January, when they WERE employed to clean the yard, but did not. They did not ever say that they did not intend to make up the week cancelled until we complained again when we came back from travelling this past Wednesday to find the yard a defrosted poop filled wreck. Additionally, they backtracked on the previous credit offered stating it would be offered only if we continue to employ the service. After the condition of the yard by the end of January, will be shown in photos, I had no intention whatsoever of employing this service during snow months. I was open to signing back up for warm weather months until I saw just how much back tracking they did and still left us with a yard absolutely full of poop that we had to clean our selves. So, to total the first snow month and last month utilizing this service that proudly claims to be year round: We are left with a yard full of poop we paid them not to pick up for an entire month as they only pick visible poops and do not chisel anything. We were offered a credit for previous issues then it was snatched back in an attempt to strong arm us into maintaining this business relationship. They cancelled our last week of service with no intention or communication concerning our previously and loudly voiced complaints about the condition of the yard. They are fine with the 100$ they collected over the course of January to literally pull maybe 10 poops leaving 40. DISHONEST COMPANY.
