We have been working with Rick of Rick & Nancy's window treatments for 11 or more years now. I still remember my 1st phone call and speaking with Sandy, Rick's wife. So accommodating and curious about our needs. Very friendly and warm. Quite a funny lady too. What a lovely human being. Then in comes Rick. TOTALLY prepared. He had everything with him and more in his car! He intuitively knew how to help guide Frank and I in our 1st purchase (Roman shades). At that same appointment told us we did NOT need to replace the existing blinds in our bedroom! He suggested we install magnets so the fan woudn't move them and keep me up at night (that click click is HORRIBLE for light sleepers) which his crew did for us when they installed the Roman shades. He then worked on our daughter's home with down ups/up down (sounds like a rap song, funny name, great product fyi), and all of the other window treatments in her home. We then called him for installation of Plantation shutters in our home which are magnificent. Absolutely magnificent. He recommended we have the split system where the 1 door can have the option of all blinds open, or keep the bottom closed and top open, or vice versa. (Again, 1 door so it is seamless). Also recommended the molding which is stunning. They have also served many of my customers and neighbors. Just 4 days ago they installed all the window treatments in my mother in law's home which we purchased where he again thought of our needs and overall aesthetics and room style, not the upcharge sale he could benefit from, and recommended a more classic clean lined plantation shutter (no upcharge), again the 1 door can have all louvers open, or top open and bottom closed, or vice versa, yet bc it's 1 door, It is seamless, and all the other blinds on the home. This is one dynamic duo. They are knowledgeable, honest, straight forward, he has an amazing eye for color and decor, and are really nice people to boot. GARBAGE PEOPLE! I wouldn't take something from them if they gave it to me for free. After the way they treated me, I can only imagine how they treat their customers. I was parked in front of their neighbor store (children's music lessons), not blocking their storefront, and remained in my vehicle due to it being a fire lane. There was no parking available. In fact, the window male employee/owner in question was also parked behind me in the fire lane. When he and the female employee/owner were ready to leave, they made sure to get within inches of my car and hit the horn screaming obscenities out the window as they passed. When I attempted to defend my position, he exited the vehicle like he was going to fight me. Real tough guy, picking a fight with a man with his kid in the car And kids watching through the windows of the music school. He finally left when he realized that I wasn't going to fight anyone, still screaming obscenities that I won't repeat here. I know they have security cameras. Maybe they would be willing to clear their name by showing the footage here? I highly doubt it!!! Stay clear of this place. Rick and Nancy are a couple of short fused psychos. I loved their customer service until I needed a repair done. Told on numerous occasions that someone would contact me, but they are very busy. My repair will most likely take minutes, I am near their location and there is also a fee. It is not free, this is ridiculou! read more

I'm so happy with Rick & Nancy's window company. My neighbor referred me to them and I am very thankful. I updated the blinds on 4 of the windows in my home and I am very pleased with the job they did. The employees were friendly, helpful, and efficient. Rick and Nancy's installed almost our entire new home and their installer did a great job. Unfortunately, their subsequent customer service is absolutely terrible. We had a shade break after some time so I brought it to their shop to be repaired. After spending thousands of dollars on new shades, the customer service on the repair almost bordered on abusive. The receptionist, who may have been Rick's wife, was short tempered, completely uninformative and rude. I was told to call back on Monday and talk to someone else (after calling 2 days in a row for information) or come pick up my shade. Needless to say, I drove over and picked up my shade. Do yourself a favor - there are plenty of terrific Hunter Douglas dealers in the South Florida area who are happy to install shades and offer PLEASANT and HELPFUL customer support.
